"All right, You take the little one on the right and I'll take the big one on the left." Jake said to Nick and Charles as they saw two Santa Claus' fighting on the footpath. "NYPD! Santa, stop hitting Santa!" Nick said as he showed his badge to the two men. "What's going on here?" Jake asked.
"I been on this corner for six years, and suddenly this guy shows up." the skinny Santa said. "You don't own the corner. I got a charity, too." the plump Santa protested.
""Canine diabetes?" Who cares about fat dogs?!" the skinny one complained. "They can't give themselves shots! They got paws!" the plump one defended.
"All right, calm down calm down. Boyle, frisk the skinny one. Nick, help me get the plump one." Jake said as he rushed to detangle the two Santas.
"I've gone 42 years without a lump of coal I'm not gonna start now." Charles commented making Jake look at him with an unbelievable expression. "Are you kidding me? All right. Fine. Come here buddy." he said.
Just as he said that the fight broke out even more causing Jake and Nick to get shoved by the dressed men. "You too?! You literally go to gym with Sam and Terry." Jake said and Nick let out a grunt as he charged at the plump Santa as he took him aside.
"Hit him in his fat, cherry cheeks!" Charles said as he took cover from he nearby trashcan while every pedestrian around the corner was seeing the fight happen.
"Ugh, that felt wrong." Nick sighed as he struggled to keep the Santa down. "Stay down, man!" he said.
Just then the other Santa punched Jake and took out a knife as he threatened the fallen officer. "Knife! Skinny Santa's got a knife!" Jake exclaimed. Nick saw how Charles sneaked behind the standing Santa and kicked him right in the groin. Making the spectators around them wince in empathy.
"That's right! Boom! I just kicked Santa in the testicles!" he cheered turning around but saw two kids looking at him scared. "....Merry Christmas!" he nervously said as a cover up.

"And then the skinny Santa flipped out a knife and it scared Jake, like I wasn't even scared a bit. You know me... tall and strong." Nick boasted to Sam with a smug smile as she listened to him. "I kicked the Santa in the balls." Charles quipped in excitedly.
"I bet the children are scarred for life. God bless any other Santa who gets kicked in the balls this season." Sam said with a smirk as she sipped on her coffee that Nick managed to get her. "Preach, sister." Gina said with a smug smile.
Sam was wearing the pendant that Nick had gifted to her on Thanksgiving. She wouldn't tell anyone else but it made her feel safe and happy to know that there is one person who cares about her as a close person and a great friend. Friend.
Sam always wondered how she got lucky to be friends with Nick. They weren't like that from the start. How had it all even started? Of what Sam could remember, Nick was a lean kid when he had joined the academy.
Many other students bullied him but one day, Sam who was working out a gym saw the boys troubling the innocent guy and she gave them a good uppercut.
Nick would be lying if he said, he wasn't fascinated by her move. He always had a huge respect for the brunette girl who had stood up for him that day and since forever. She was one of the closest and important people he had in his life.
"Did you at least wish them?" Sam asked Charles. "I did." he said proudly making Sam roll her eyes. Just then she saw Captain Holt walk out of his office.
"Excuse me, everyone. As you may know, this holiday season. Detectives sometimes feel the urge to buy their captains holiday presents. Please refrain from doing that. Under no circumstances do I want a present." he announced.
