LUNCH-A COUPLE DAYS LATER

EVELYN'S POV

I was sitting in the Great Hall, eating my food. I was looking forward to DADA and seeing Remus. Of course, it was still going to be a bit weird between him and I after what he found out.

Honestly it could have been much worse. I had no idea he saw me as a daughter but since I never had an actual good father figure, it felt nice. His reaction though, was unexpected. I thought we were fucked but I guess not. I trusted Remus and trusted that he would tell no one, honestly. Even if he did tell someone, he doesn't have any proof so eh..

The bell rang and I made my way to Remus's classroom. As I was walking there I saw the Malfoy girl that had attacked me. Her eyes locked with mine. I quickly crossed the corridor and began walking to the other side. She looked furious and it seemed like she was following me. I turned a corner and saw Remus standing outside his door, greeting students as they walked in. He saw me and looked confused. I walked quickly to his side and stood close to him.

"What happened?" Remus asked as his hand went on the side of my face.

"This girl..she attacked me a while ago and I saw her right now..I think she's following me..please.."

"It's ok..I'm here..what does she look like?" He asked me.

"She's a Malfoy, slytherin, blond hair." I answered and walked inside, making my way to the back.

Remus looked around and quickly spotted her. She looked around and smirked as she made her way to Remus. She was going to walk in but Remus moved in her way. Her eyes looked up to him and she glared at him.

"I don't remember you being in my class, Miss?.." Remus stated.

"Malfoy. I am looking for my friend. She forgot...something." She responded.

"I'm sorry but you're going to have to wait to talk to her. Class is going to start soon." Remus smirked, crossing his arms.

"Well, I need to talk to her now, it can't wait. Is she here?" She answered, looking over his shoulder.

"Who may you be looking for?" Remus asked, obviously annoyed.

"White. Evelyn White..I believe it is." She muttered, angrily.

"Oh. Miss White, yes, she is in my class, what did you need from her?" Remus asked, still blocking her from entering the classroom.

"What do you care? Have something for her, just like Professor Snape does?" She asked, with a smug look.

"I care about her just as I care about all my other students."

"Oh sure." She looked annoyed.

"Now I insist you get to class."

"Not until you tell me why you care so much for that brat!" She yelled into Remus's face.

"Watch. Your. Mouth. She is my god-daughter and no one is to call her that. No. One. If I'm not mistaken the head of your house is Professor Snape, right? And he isn't pleased about the last 'incident' including Miss White, is he? Now I will only ask one more time. Go. Away. Before I ask him to come over here and DRAG you to your class." Remus finished and closed the door in her face.

Damn this man is just a badass like wow. Remus doing that, go bad bitch.

Remus made his way towards his desk and began explaining what we would do.

30 MINUTES LATER

I sat there, working on the essay he had given us. I could see Remus walking towards me from the corner of my eye. He quietly grabbed a chair and sat next to me. The class began talking and was loud since everyone was supposedly 'working' together.

"So..she did seem like she wanted to attack you..again."

"Yea..I was sure she did." I looked up from my parchment.

"It's fine..I did have to make an excuse..and I.." He smiled nervously and ran his hand through his hair.

"What did you say..." I asked.

"I told her you were my god-daughter..I'm sorry but I couldn't think of anything else.." Remus looked down.

"Hey, it's fine. I kinda wish you were. It's cool so don't worry. That could've gone so much worse."

Remus looked at me and smiled.

"Can I tell you something?" I asked, fidgeting with my hands.

"Sure, anything." Remus sat back.

"I never really had a father..well I did but he was..a horrible person..so I kinda see you..as a father..if that isn't weird. I see you as a great..father figure..and I'm happy..we could if you want to continue to spread that..good rumour..that I'm your god-daughter." I began shaking.

"Yea. I think it's a great idea. It would harm no one and I'm happy you finally get to see someone as a father..or god-father."

"You think Severus would get mad?" I asked.

"Mm..I doubt it but we could ask him first." Remus suggested.

"Yea..I guess." I answered.

He smiled and got up. Remus walked around the class, making sure everyone was staying on task.

I thought of the idea of having Remus as a god-father. Amazing.
