Sudden Suspicions

SNAPE'S PERSONAL QUARTERS-MORNING

EVELYN'S POV

I woke up to Severus's hand stroking my hair. I blinked my eyes slowly, not wanting to wake up. I heard some shuffling and the next thing I know is I'm lying on Severus's stomach. I felt warm and opened my eyes.

"Morning, love." Severus whispered.

"Mm..Morning.." I felt Severus place his hands on my lower back. I groaned and planted my face onto his chest. I felt his chest rise and fall, as he placed his head back onto his pillow.

"What time is it.." I groaned, lifting my face from his chest. He shushed me and caressed my cheek. I smiled and placed my face into his chest again. He placed his hands under my arms and pulled me closer to his face. My face rested on his shoulder and his face on mine. I could feel Severus kissing my neck. I groaned and lifted my face up and looked at him.

"Now seriously, what time is it?" I asked again.

He looked into my eyes, his eyes soft and he gave me a genuine smile.

"It's 10." He whispered.

"My..It's late.." I groaned, trying to get up.

"It's Sunday..No need to go anywhere." He pulled my back down close to him. I groaned in defeat and pulled my hands close to me, feeling the coldness of the dungeons run down my body. I began shivering. I felt Severus pull the covers close to my neck and his arms still around my back.

"Fine..Only a few more minutes." I exhaled heavily and closed my eyes.

About 10 minutes passed by when I heard a heavy knock at the door. I was startled and Severus got up and placed me on the bed.

"Don't move or make a sound. I'll be right back." He got changed with a flick of his wand and walked out, closing the door behind him. I got up and reached for my clothes quietly.

SNAPE'S POV

I walked out into my kitchen area, clearly annoyed at whomever was here at this time. I quickly walked to the door that connected my personal quarters with the classroom. I swung the door open.

Has to be her. What does she want now..

I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Can I help you, Professor Barlow?" I said dully.

Professor Barlow is an assistant of another professor and has been here for half of last year. Her blonde hair, straight, and her green eyes, dull. Her face, round and pale.

I have no idea what her deal is with bothering me so much.

"I just wanted to know if you wanted to have breakfast together?"

"I'm a bit busy.." I was close to closing the door but she stopped it with her hand. I groaned and rolled my eyes behind the door.

"We could have breakfast here.." She smirked and made her way inside. I blocked her path but she walked closer to me. I felt her hand lay on my chest and she looked up, with a seductive look. Her eyes just shined lust.

I pushed her away. I flicked the door open and used my wandless magic to push her out the door. Before I could slam it close, she pushed back in, this time knocking me over, onto the couch. I tried to get up but she laid on top of me.

"I guess you're stuck here.." She said, smirking.

I was about to say something but I heard a loud noise come from my bedroom. We both looked towards the room. I quickly stood up, pushing her to the floor.
