REMUS'S OFFICE-EVENING

EVELYN'S POV

I sat on a couch Remus had in his office. He walked towards me with cups of tea. He placed the cups on the small table in front of us and sat down.

"Are you feeling better?" He asked quietly.

I shook my head.

"Want to talk about it?" Remus asked, moving me closer to him.

I nodded slowly and sat closer to him. I let my head fall onto his shoulder as his free hand went around my shoulder.

"Whenever you're ready..I'm here to listen." He whispered.

"I..I can start from the beginning.." I said, wiping my tears.

"Ok..you can start wherever you like.." Remus said, sipping his tea.

"I..I was in class..and Erik and his stupid friend approached me..he began touching my face..and I tried to make him stop..but he wouldn't..so when I heard Severus..I thought I was safe..but I guess not..he pulled us out of class and then proceeded to say that I! I! Was dating him. That I was 'his little girlfriend' and he just gave me detention! Like does he not know how much I love him!! I.." I began breaking down.

Remus put his cup down and pulled me closer.

"Shh...It's alright..he was probably just very angry at him..I'm sure everything is going to be fine."

I cried into his shirt and wrapped my arms around him. He only rubbed my back and stroked my hair.

"Now..I don't know how to prove..to him that I love him.." I sobbed.

"Evelyn. He knows you love him. He is just..is so stubborn..but he knows..deep down that you love him. Severus probably had a moment of heavy anger. It would happen a lot."

I moved a bit and looked up at him.

"What would happen a lot?" I asked, confused.

"Well...Don't tell him I told you or anything but, when we were your age..and would come to Hogwarts..he would always be losing his temper. He would already feel angry and the smallest thing would make him lose it. Imagine like a..a cup full of water. The cup is all the way full but it is not spilling a drop. All of a sudden you add a bunch of ice cubes. The water will fly out, creating unwanted and regrettable messes. That's how Severus was. He would be upset, and he wouldn't tell anyone why. Then someone like James would come around and say something, making him lose control and do things he regretted after."

I felt horrible. I wanted to run and hug him, but I knew he wouldn't react the same way. Not after what he thought was going on.

"Well...he isn't much like that anymore. When I saw you guys that night...I saw a side of him that I had never seen. Happiness. He was happy and I thought he would never get super angry like before..."

"Yea...I want to explain everything to him..."

"Do it. I know you guys will work everything out. You guys are true soulmates. You guys are made for each other." Remus smiled.

"I will..just that I want him to cool off first. I have detention with him anyways."

"Right..I don't want him to hurt you.." Remus hugged me.

"Remus..he would never..I know it.." I responded, unsure myself.

"I hope not..but for now..drink.." He gestured to my cup.

I sat up and drank my tea.

"Chocolate?" Remus asked, as he pulled out a small wrapper out of his inside pocket.

"Sure..." I reached for a piece.

AFTER DINNER

I had fallen asleep next to Remus. I woke up slowly as I felt him run his hands around my waist. I blinked and squinted my eyes. I saw I was in his lap sideways and his arms were around me. His head rested back against the edge of the couch. I snuggled closer to him and felt him wake up. He groaned quietly and yawned.

"You have detention...let's not make things worse with Severus." Remus said quietly.

"I don't want to go anymore..." I groaned.

"Evelyn...I just saw how happy you both were yesterday; I won't let that get ruined by some misunderstanding." Remus replied.

I realised he was right, and it was a misunderstanding, and it was ruining our relationship. We were both happy with each other and this wasn't going to get ruined by some stupid boy's actions.

"Alright I'll go right now.." I stood up and looked down at him.

"You didn't eat anything..Remus.." I bend down to look into his eyes.

"I'm fine.." He looked pale, and weary. I caressed his cheek with my hand and smiled.

"I'll bring you something to eat..if Severus lets me go early..in case you hear a knock.." I smiled wide.

"Alright, thanks. Take care." He brought my face towards him and kissed my forehead.

"Wait what name can I call you?"

"Um..I don't really care.." He smiled.

"Ok..dad..or uncle..god-father is too long.."

"How about Moony.."

I looked at him confused.

"Sure that's a cool..nickname?"

"Yea..my friends would call me that when we attended here."

"Alright then..I'll see you later Moony." I waved and walked to the door and walked out. I made my way to the front of the classroom. I opened the door and was hit by the cold breeze. It was evening and the wind was blowing through the corridors. I slowly walked out and closed the door behind me.
