GREAT HALL-DINNER

EVELYN'S POV

After our first time, we spent most of our nights together. I had tried to talk to other students but they didn't seem interested in a friendship with me. Severus had been annoyed at Barlow for always wanting to interfere with our "friendship". I sat there eating dinner, submerged in my thoughts. Today was Saturday and I planned on seeing Severus later but was not sure. I finished eating and began walking to my dorm. As I walked down the corridor, I saw Lupin walking in my direction. I didn't want to be rude, so I stopped when I reached him.

"Hey, Remus." I said, pretty excited to see him.

"Hey Eveyln. I was wondering what you were doing today."

"I was only going to my dorm, pretty bored. You?"

"I'm pretty bored too. You want to share some tea and chocolate in my office?" He asked with a sad smile.

"Sure, that'd be great." I gave him a big smile. He smiled and began walking to his classroom. I followed behind him and looked around the corridors. As he opened the door, I saw Severus standing at the corner of the opposite corridor. He wasn't alone. Someone was standing in front of him. All of a sudden, I saw a girl push him against the wall and kiss him. He didn't seem to push her away. I felt hurt but remembered what he had said, "If I were to do something, I would have a strong motivate and only then would I commit actions I wouldn't really like." I then saw him push her away and begin scolding her. I headed inside Lupin's office and he closed the door.

"We could talk in my office, or would you prefer to stay in the classroom?" He asked.

"Your office is fine." I said and followed him.

He walked to the back of the classroom where a staircase led upstairs. Remus walked up the stairs and opened the door. It was a small room but it was full of small things. It was a soft brown colour, and it gave a warm feeling.

"Please sit wherever you like. I'll prepare the tea." He walked down the room to an area that seemed to be the kitchen. I saw a sofa close to a large window. I admired the view, the sun setting and the trees creating shadows.

TIME SKIP TO AFTER

I quietly made my way to the dungeons. I knew I was supposed to be in my dorm, but I wanted to see Severus. I walked down the stairs and before reaching the door, I saw Barlow walking out, fixing her shirt and her hair. Severus walked out behind her and they both looked at me. I was unable to make words.

"Can I help you?" Barlow asked me.

"I.." I couldn't say anything.

"Barlow, I'll take care of this." Severus said sternly.

Barlow turned to him and grazed her hand on his chest before leaving towards the stairs. As soon as she left I turned to look at him. He grabbed my hand and pulled me inside his classroom.

"I have to explain...I can assure you...nothing happened..."

Severus said quietly. He stood close to me and tried to place his hand on my shoulder. I moved away from him.

"I can't...do this anymore..." I spoke.

"Wait...let's have some tea..." He suggested.

"No, explain what was happening, right now..." I managed to say.

He sighed.

"She is going to blackmail us. She found out some details AND has proof. If I don't do what she says, she'll expose us. She has us under her dirty little fingers..." Severus whispered.

"Are you sure that's what is happening..." I asked, still not convinced.

"Yes.."

"So you're going to sleep with her as well.." I said, feeling a tear fall down my cheek.

"I don't want to and if I can avoid even touching her, I will. I promise I will not do anything without motivate." Severus responded. He moved his hands on my hips.

"Please..trust me..as soon as I can get the evidence away from her, I'll stay super far from her. Trust me." He whispered. He slowly pulled me closer to him and hesitantly hugged me. I began crying and wrapped my arms around him.

"Shhh..I'm sorry you have to go through this..you can just leave me...if you want..not having a relationship with me will save you fr-"

"I don't want anyone else!! I only want you..even if that means I must see you with another woman..I'd rather go through this pain then never be with you again..." I cried even harder.

"I love you Evelyn..always know that.." Severus looked into my eyes.

"I love..you too Severus.." I whispered as his face lowered down to mine.

Our lips met and his kiss was slow and gentle. His lips soft and his hands on my hips. He slowly pulled away and kept his forehead with mine.

"Sleep here. She shouldn't come back until noon tomorrow." Severus whispered.

I nodded and he lifted me again. I smiled and laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" Severus chuckled.

"Because you carry me a lot. I love it though." I smiled.

He pulled me close.

"Good because I will do it a lot." He chuckled.

He carried me into his personal quarters and set me down on the kitchen counter. He slowly kissed my neck. It was lustful but passionate. He all of a sudden stopped and didn't move. I looked at him and heard him start snoring quietly.

"Sev..." I whispered. He groaned and looked at me, his eyes heavy.

"You ok?..." I asked.

"Yea..I'm just extra tired. I haven't slept...in a couple of days."

"Awww..Sev...Let's go to sleep.." I hopped off the counter and grabbed his hand, leading him to the room. I could see him already closing his eyes. I walked in and took off my robes along with my button up. He sat on the bed and slowly removed his shoes. I removed my trousers and walked over to him. I began unbuttoning his robes. Slowly I slid them off and he remained in his grey undershirt. He took off his shirt and left it on the bed. I grabbed it and put it on, smiling at him. His face softened and he turned slightly red. I crawled into bed, pulling him with me. Severus moved to the middle of the bed, laying his head back and sighing. This time I hugged him, his head under my chin and his arms around my lower back. My arms were relaxed and my hands were under his head and in his hair.

"Sleep well, Sev..I love you.." I whispered into his head.

"I love..you..too.." He said before falling asleep.

His face immediately seemed soft and relaxed. His snoring was quiet and cute.
