SEVERUS'S QUARTERS-MORNING

EVELYN'S POV

I woke up to Severus humming softly. One of his hands was in my hair and the other on my cheek. I had forgotten I had fallen asleep with Severus.

"Mm.." I groaned.

"It's early and I have to get you to your dorm." Severus whispered.

"No.." I moved away from him, putting my back to him. He slowly moved closer to me and hugged me from behind.

"I know you don't want to leave..I don't want that either, but you must return, or the head of your house will notice.."

I didn't move, not caring about school anymore. I only cared about spending more time with the love of my life.

"I don't care.." I mumbled. Severus turned me around and looked deeply into my eyes, his eyes soft and his mouth, smiling big.

"I know YOU don't care, but I do. I care about you, that means I want you to keep doing well in your classes..so you should care. We're going to spend the rest of our lives together, so don't worry about our time together, worry about your education, please..I will provide whatever you need but I want you to get your dream job.."

I stared into his eyes, feeling reassured and moved by his words.

"I love you Severus.." I smiled big.

His pale cheeks were filled with colour, he closed his eyes and smiled.

"I love you too Evelyn.." He responded.

I sat up and swung my legs over the edge of the bed. I got up and walked towards the chair, where my clothes lay. I took off the sweater and his shirt. I could see him, just admiring. I turned to him before putting my button up on.

"Such gorgeous little princess you are." Severus said as he got off the bed and made his way to me. He looked down at me and his fingers went up my arm to my neck. I began buttoning my button up but was stopped by his hand. I looked up at him.

"I have class.." I said turning away from him.

"Yes..other people taking what I crave the most." Severus growled into my ear, him standing behind me. I shivered as his hand ran from my thigh up to my back to my hair.

"Stop.." I groaned as I finished closing my shirt and adding my tie. I put my trousers on and shoes. Severus was changed into his everyday outfit.

Don't get me wrong, he looks hot in those robes..but it's every single day..he could change it once in a while.

I saw him fixing his undershirt, clearly struggling. I walked over to him and began helping him. I moved his hands away and fixed it. I slowly began buttoning his robes. His eyes were fixed on my hands as I finished the top button. I placed my hand on his cheek. His head leaned on my hand and he smiled.

"Let's go before it's too late." I suggested.

Severus nodded and gave me a hug. I hugged him back, wishing I was always in his embrace.

"I'm going to miss you Evelyn."

"I'm going to miss you too.." I said. We pulled apart and walked to the classroom. Once there he locked his quarters and walked out. I followed closely behind him. We walked up the stairs, making sure there was no one around.

"What time is it?" I asked, confused.

"It's 5:00, it'll give you enough time to change and make it to breakfast." He smiled as we continued walking to my tower.

I sighed loudly and swung my hand towards his hand. I moved closer and my hand brushed against his. Severus looked at me, hesitantly. He only smiled and held my hand tightly. We made it to my tower and began walking upstairs. He was much faster than me. When at the entrance I turned to look at him before going in.

"I'll see you later..if you're not busy.." I started nervously.

"Actually.." Severus started. He sighed and moved closer to me.

"I think it'd be a good idea if you spend more time doing other things instead of being around me so much. Don't get me wrong I love your company and I love you but, I wouldn't want other people getting suspicious of us. So I would like you to spend more time with other students and doing something else.."

I felt a bit bad and I wanted to argue but felt like he was right.

"I guess..I don't like anyone's company but yours so..I want to spend all my time with you.."

"I know.." He moved his hands on my waist and pulled me closer.

"You can spend weekends and vacations with me. Even nights. But I want you to give the impression that you have nothing to do with me. I want everyone to think that I am only your professor and you're hardly fond of me. Please, that can be the only way to cover up our actions right now..."

I rested my forehead on his chest and inhaled his scent.

"Ok..I'll try.." I whispered.

His hand stroked my hair, slowly. I pulled away from him and sprinted inside, holding my tears in.

"Evel-" Severus started but was stopped by the sound of the door slamming.

I went to my dorm and sat on the bed, letting tears fall.

How could I have been so stupid? He probably did just use me..he probably doesn't want anything. Maybe this is his way of saying he doesn't want me anymore......

I sat there confused and overwhelmed. I didn't want to assume Severus regretted his actions but I had a feeling that was the reason. I took a quick shower and changed into a new uniform. I dried my hair and turned to Angel.

"What should I do?.." I asked myself more than Angel.

"Maybe if I stop sleeping with him, I could actually focus on my future and there would be a smaller chance of someone finding out..." I tied my hair into a ponytail and grabbed my book bag. I fed Angel and walked to the common room. I saw the same girls from the other day. This time they waved at me. A smile grew on my face and I waved back. I walked out of the room and down the stairs. I wanted to get to breakfast earlier. I took out a book and began to read as I made my way to the Great Hall.

I got there and many students and professors were already there. Severus was the first person I saw out of the whole crowd. His eyes were fixed on me, showing sorrow and regret. I made my way to the edge of the table, close to the entrance and away from the professor's table. I filled my plate with eggs and grabbed myself a glass of water. I opened my book and began reading as I ate my breakfast. I only kept my eyes on the book, trying to avoid Severus even though I could feel his eyes on me. More and more students arrived until it was full. I had finished my food and sat facing almost the wall. All of a sudden, I felt someone sit next to me. I looked up from my book and back. A boy with short curly hair and small glasses looked at me.

"Hey! I hope this seat wasn't taken." He spoke.

"Uh..no it's fine."

He smiled and began eating.

"I'm Erik by the way."

I looked at him and faced him.

"I'm Evelyn. What year are you?"

"I'm in my 6th year. You?"

"Same." I put my book away and began paying attention to him.

I smiled as he kept talking.

His brown wavy hair, his glasses, his small smile, his blue eyes..

"Excuse me, Miss White. I would like a word, now." I hear a voice say behind me, leaving Erik a bit scared.
