Exhausting Exams

AN: (Short Chapter sorry :D)

MONDAY-GREAT HALL

SNAPE'S POV

I sat at the Great Hall, not feeling hungry. I didn't feel like eating anymore. I didn't feel anything but guilt and deep sadness. Those consequences we were given were leaving holes in me. Holes that couldn't be filled with anything but the slightest thought of Evelyn. My eyes looking at her, her glaze on me, talking to her. Like last time I saw the Slytherins saying things about her, she said she missed me. That moment made me extremely happy for a while, until I had to leave. If I would've stayed, I would've done something that would've been the end for me.

"Severus?"

I snapped out of my head and turned to the person who had called me. It was Dumbledore.

"What is it, Albus?"

After everything that was happening, I always felt angry and hated everyone.

"How are you feeling?" He asked softly.

"I'm fine." I said as I gritted my teeth.

I got up and walked out, using the exit made for staff. I slowly walked down the corridor, trying to get my thoughts and feelings to go away. I made it to my class and saw it was pointless. I slowly made my way to my desk and sat down. Class would soon begin and I began preparing the final exam.

EVELYN'S POV

I finished my breakfast and began reviewing my charms textbook. My first final was charms. I was very good in all my classes but I wanted to do my best. I flipped through the pages and began reading through my notes. I already knew everything but wanted to make sure I understood everything. I tried to maintain my attention on my book but soon my mind filled up with thoughts of Severus.

I slammed the book shut and got up. I began walking to my Charms class. The corridors were empty since I was walking to class so early. I knocked on the door. Flitwick opened the door and smiled.

"Evelyn, what are you doing here early?"

"I..just thought it would've been a great idea to be here early.."

"Ok, then you may sit down." He moved away from the door.

I walked in and made my way to my desk.

"Has something happened? I have been observing you and it seems that you are tired and quiet, well more than usual."

"Well, no..I'm just going through some things..and I am feeling..tired.."

"I am here if you ever want to talk.."

"Thanks professor, but I have been feeling a lot better since then.."

"Alright, then."

During the exam, we have to answer a bunch of questions on parchment. I felt confident and knew all the answers. That was a simple task for me. After that, one by one we were given a spell and we were required to do it in front of Filtwick. I was able to do the spell correctly and was given a 100/100 on my final exam.
