Chase and Madelyn: A love story

Chapter 54

Madelyn's POV:

The next morning, Madison insisted on driving me and Chase to the airport. Her excuse was "I don't want y'all to have to pay that insane parking price" but Chase and I knew she was trying to help us out in different ways ever since we told her about my pregnancy.

"Are you excited?" Chase asked as we got the rest of our belongings together.

"I'm so excited. I still can't believe you arranged this." I replied.

He smiled and kissed my lips. Chase broke the news to his family a few minutes ago that we were having twins, and they were beyond excited.

I pulled away from the kiss and yawned, it was only 8:30 AM, and I was tired. I got a text from Madison saying she had arrived.

"Bailey's here." I told Chase.

"Do you wanna tell her?" He asked, referring to the twin news.

I could barely contain my smile, I knew Madison would freak out.

"Yeah, I think so. Get ready for the screams." I joked.

Chase grabbed his suitcase and mine and we made our way downstairs to greet Madison. She helped us put our bags in the trunk.

"Thanks again for driving us." Chase said as he hopped into the back seat.

"Of course, y'all have some really long flights ahead of you." Madison replied.

Chase and I were first flying to Los Angeles where we had a 2 hour layover. Then, we'd board an 18 hour flight to Bangkok, Thailand. I was so excited for the trip, but I knew the extensive travel day would wipe both of us out.

Chase eyed me through the rearview mirror. I nodded and smiled.

"Bails, we have something to tell you." I said.

"What?" She asked casually.

I looked back at Chase who couldn't of appeared happier.

"I'm pregnant with twins!" I exclaimed.

"What?" Madison asked, confusion plastered on her face.

"We're having two babies!" Chase excitedly rephrased.

"No...you're kidding! Oh my god, you're kidding!" Madison said as she processed what we were saying, the smile on her face growing.

I shook my head.

"You can't tell?" I joked, pointing to my steadily growing baby bump.

"No way!!" Madison shouted. She then let out an excited high pitched shriek.

"Told ya." I said to Chase, knowing Madison would scream. He giggled and squeezed my shoulder.

"I can't believe this!" Madison said.

"Honestly, us either." Chase replied.

When we arrived at the airport, Madison helped us unload our luggage. She hugged me very tightly and placed her hand on my stomach.

"I'm so happy for you." She whispered.

"You're gonna make me cry!" I replied.

Madison then hugged Chase.

"Be careful. Call me if you need me. I love you both." She said.

"Love you too. Thanks for the ride." I said as Madison got back into her car.

She waved as we walked into the terminal's entrance.

We got through security smoothly and picked up some breakfast when we got to the gate. We boarded the flight to Los Angeles soon after. Chase held my hand during take off, he knew I always got slightly nervous during this part of the flight. Little actions like this reminded me of why I fell in love with Chase.
