Madelyn's POV:

I barely slept. My body ached as the epidural wore off. I had a small bandage on my lower stomach over the c-section incision. I still looked heavily pregnant, I knew it would take a while for my stomach to go back to normal.

Chase didn't sleep much either. He held my hand the whole time and made sure I was taken care of. He would get the nurse when I needed more pain medication, or help me eat and drink.

"I want to take a shower." I said. It was 4 AM, and neither of us could sleep. We were both exhausted though.

"I'll ask the nurse, I don't know if you're allowed to." Chase said.

Chase came back a few minutes later shaking his head.

"They want you to wait a little bit. Kate said she'd give you body wipes, but it's too soon after the surgery for a shower. You shouldn't get the scar wet, plus you have a catheter in." Chase said.

I pouted.

"Do you want me to wash your hair in the sink?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, that would be nice." I said.

Chase wrapped his arm around my back and helped me into a wheelchair. He pushed me into the bathroom and up to the sink where he gently began to wet and scrub my hair.

"Spa day!" Chase joked.

I giggled and closed my eyes.

I awoke in the hospital bed, the sun shining through the blinds.

"What happened?" I asked, confused because the last thing I remembered was Chase washing my hair.

"You fell asleep." Chase said. "Are you feeling ok?" He asked.

I nodded. Even though I only got a few hours of sleep, I felt much better.

"Look who joined us..." Chase said, pointing to the bassinets at the side of the bed.

I smiled, noticing the twins sleeping peacefully.

"When did they get here?" I asked.

"A few minutes ago. I think we have to name them before the nurses take 'em back to the NICU." He said.

I reached my arms out, motioning for Chase to place the babies in my arms. He took the girl and laid her in my left arm, and laid the boy in my right arm. Neither one of them awoke in the process.

"They're so sweet." I said, in awe of how precious they were.

Then, I heard a knock on the door. It was my parents. They both gasped as they saw me holding both of my babies. They stayed for about an hour to meet and hold them. Chase's mom was planning to come up from Florida in a few days, and his dad and siblings were going to come soon too.

After my parents left, Madison dropped by. She could barely hold her excitement in as she held the twins. She kept saying how cute they were.

Once Chase and I were alone with the twins again, we decided to discuss names.

"This is so hard." I said, stumped.

Chase agreed and we brainstormed for a few minutes.

"I still really like Juliet." I proposed.

"That's pretty." Chase said.

"You like it?" I asked.

"Yeah. It's a pretty name for a pretty baby." Chase said.

I smiled and caressed her soft cheeks.

"Juliet..." I said while exhaling, testing out the name. "It's perfect. She's perfect." I said, looking to Chase.
