A lot of things I was not accustmed to.

Especially a new environment.

I sat on my bed, reading a book called
' My wish,' that was fast becoming a best seller.

That is, before my peaceful reading was interupted
by the sound of a shrill bell.

A voice from the intercom in our room began to buzz, with the sound of the voice of the hostel Mistress.

"Girls, please let us come out to the dinning for our dinner.
New students should not forget to put on their hostel wear.
See you in ten minutes, as usual."

I dropped my book, while taking my dark blue hostel wear out of a transparent nylon.

The hostel wear was as usual,

Elegant.

It was a very dark shade of midnight blue, had a short sleeve and it was really plaid.

With a zip at the back, and three buttons in the chest region.

I quickly put off my old clothes and put on my hostel wear just as Esosa goes to wake Brielle up.

Beauty dresses up, while having a fake argument with Oba.

Nneka is beside me, putting on a sports bra and tights as she adjusts her gown.

"Do you have any allergies?"
She asked.

I shook my head.
"But do wannabes count?"

Her face breaks into a smile.

"Wannabes definitely counts."

"Our new room mate is here,"
Esosa tells Brielle who slowly trains her red sleepy eyes on me.

"Hey," she waved a bit, smiling at me.

"Hi," I responded.

Oba was by my side, pulling me up and attaching our hands together as I clutch my cutlery set and water bottle.

"I can not wait for you to meet everyone!"
Oba said in excitement as Brielle locked the door to our purple room.

"There's Mia and Ewa. There's Tolu and Belle.
There's Lizzy and Purity.
Then the boys!"
Oba exclaimed.

"The girls are more oh.
I just want you to meet them by yourself.
The boys are
Dozie, Felix, Adeyemi, Bryan, Ike, Rodney, and others i can not remember!
Oh they'll love you,"

I hope they don't.

I notice that other rooms also have girls exiting from them.

Also, Brielle and Esosa have sad looks on their faces as they talk in low tunes and I have to turn away from them.

Nneka was by my side in an instant, a novel and cutleries in her hand.

"I'm guessing you didn't bring cutleries,"
She said to me, smiling.
"Here, my parents make alot of things, including cutleries."
She said and I smiled at her in gratitude.
