I sighed softly letting myself stare at my food, I felt so lost and confused. . . Why were these happening to me of all people, I'm so close to losing everything.
I knew my last few lives were at stake but I couldn't bring myself to tell anyone why I'm still here running around like this.
"Hey, is everything alright, you seem a bit stressed about something."
"I'm fine, I don't wanna talk about it. . . It's not that important anyways."
"Listen here Nikki, whatever is bothering you is important and I wanna help you out as much as can."
I chuckled softly before rubbing my eyes to stop the tears from falling.
"Can we talk about it later? I wanna try and eat."
"Of course you know where to find me when the times comes."
"Right, and thank you."
"Of course, what are friends for."
