y/n's pov

i have been staying at my boyfriend chris' and his brothers house for the last 2 months. they have been on tour so i have stayed here to "house sit" i guess? they didn't really have much that needed to be taken care of, but i was here anyway. they had about another 2 weeks before they came home, and i missed them like crazy. they are my bestest friends in the entire world, and i have no idea how i survived these 2 months without them, without my boyfriend.

i was sitting on the couch watching tv when my phone started ringing, it was a facetime from chris. i picked up and immediately was met with my boyfriend with a huge smile on his face. "hi baby," he smiled at me. "hi chris," i smiled. "how are you doing?" "i'm okay, i miss you guys but i'm alright, you having fun?" "i miss you too baby.. so much fun! i can't believe we just finished our last show," he frowned. "i know baby, but hey at least you get to see your family," i smiled at him, i knew how much it hurt him to be away from them when he was in LA.

"yeah, that's true, so we're gonna stay here for like a week and a half, and then we'll be back," he smiled at me. "take your time chris, enjoy your time with your family, i can wait," i smiled. "i love you, i gotta go, we're about to leave to go home," he smiled at me. "have fun baby, i love you," i said and he smiled, before hanging up. i set my phone back down and continued watching tv for a little while. after i had finished up a season of the show i was watching, i decided to go to bed. i have been sleeping in chris' room since he left, it just smells like him and brings me comfort since he's not here.

i laid down, plugging my phone in, pulling the blankets up and almost immediately fell asleep. i don't know how long i was sleeping for, but i ended up waking up to the bed dipping down next to me, and i froze. did i leave the door unlocked and somebody got in? arms wrapped around me and pulled me into them, and i felt a kiss on my cheek. i slowly looked over my shoulder and saw my boyfriend. "chris?!" i rolled over and threw my arms around his neck. he laughed, "hi baby," "i.. what? you.." he cut me off, "i lied to you baby so i could come back and surprise you, i missed you," he kissed me.

i kissed him back and we pulled away. "what do you mean you lied? i thought your last show was yesterday?" "nope. we've just been posting show pictures days after they happened so it would all work out. tours been over for like a week now," he said and i just hugged him again. "i missed you so much," i whispered. "i can tell, i missed you too baby," he kissed my head. "wait! where's nick and matt?" "upstairs," he smiled, and let go of me. i immediately got up and ran out of his room and upstairs, to be met with matt in the kitchen.

"matt!" i ran up to him and hugged him. "hi y/n," he smiled and hugged me back, rubbing my back. "ahem!" i heard, i turned my head to see nick. i pulled away from matt and ran over to nick and hugged him. "i missed you guys so much," i told them. "we missed you too," they smiled. "okay guys can i have my girlfriend back now?" i heard chris say as he came from around the corner. "sure whatever," nick rolled his eyes and playfully pushed me off of him. "goodnight, love you guys," i smiled and walked back over to chris. "goodnight, love you too," they replied.

chris brought me back down to his room and laid down,
opening his arms, which i immediately crawled into bed and crawled into. he held me closely to him, as tightly as he could, and kissed me again. we pulled away and i looked at him, "i'm so happy you're back," i whispered, he just smiled and kissed me again. "you have no idea how happy i am to be with you," he whispered as we pulled away. he kissed my forehead, and i laid my head in the crook of his neck and he laid his head on mine. "i love you, goodnight," he whispered. "i love you," i mumbled, already half asleep.
