today was the day. today was the day i was finally going to tell chris about Lily. she was my 3 year old daughter, im 18 now, so i had her when i was 15. unfortunately things that i didn't want to happen, happened with my ex boyfriend, and i hated every second of it. i was young and stupid, but now i have the best little girl ever. i was currently getting lily dressed, and then i sat down with her. "okay lil, mommys
boyfriend chris is coming over, you have to stay in here until i come get you, okay?" she smiled and nodded, giggling. the doorbell rang, "okay he's here, you stay here," i told her, going downstairs.

i opened the door and there he was. "hi baby," i smiled, "hi beautiful," he walked in, giving me a kiss. "what did you need to talk to me about?" "okay uhm.. come sit," i said, suddenly getting nervous. we walked to the living room and sat down and i looked at him. "i love you, i love you so much chris, and i'm sorry i kept this from you for so long, i'm just scared," i looked down. he grabbed my hand, "talk to me baby? what's going on? why are you scared?" i looked up at him, wiping my eyes.

"i understand if you wanna leave me after this, but.. i have a kid chris," i started, looking down. i didn't wanna see his reaction. "when i was 15, my old abusive ex, i was stupid and we.. you know.. and then i found out i was pregnant, and he wanted me to get rid of her, and i couldn't bring myself to do it. so he started abusing me, hitting me every chance he got, trying to get me to get rid of her, but i couldn't do it, chris. so i left him and got my own place, and then i met you and i'm so happy with you i just, didn't want to scare you away.." i finished.

"hey," he whispered, lifting my chin up. "it's okay, im not mad at you. i just wish you would've told me sooner, but it's okay, i promise i understand why you didn't. this does not change anything, baby. i still love you, and you're stuck with me," he smiled, reaching up to wipe my eyes. "can i meet her?" he whispered, and i smiled and nodded, getting
up and going into lilys room. "hey baby, you ready?" i smiled at her and she nodded, getting up and running out and downstairs into the living room, me closely behind her.

"chris?" she pointed at him, looking at me, and i nodded at her. she ran over to him and wrapped her arms around his legs, it was the cutest thing ever. he picked her up, putting her on his lap, and he had the biggest smile on his face. "hi cutie," he smiled at her. "dad?" she looked at him. "no baby, no dad," i told him. "yes dad," he told her, looking at her. i froze, no way he just said that to her. he looked up at me, and saw my face and called me over, "c'mere." i walked over and sat next to him, and he looked at me, while lily was too focused on playing with his hand.

"i know i'm not her dad, but i promise you i want to be in her life, just as much as yours. i will help you take care of her, i love her already, y/n, please.." he said to me. "chris, you just turned 20, you have a career, you-" "i don't care about that right now," he cut me off. "all i care about right now is you and lily," he said. "i love you, and i love her already, i wanna be in her life, y/n.." he whispered, looking down at her and smiling. "okay," i sighed. "but promise me you'll let me know if it becomes too much? this isn't really something you should be dealing with.." i told him. "i'm not 'dealing with' anything, i'm just taking care of the 2 girls i love the most in this world." he smiled at me. god i hate that i cannot say no to him.
