y/n's pov
"i love you," matt told me out of the blue. i put my fork down and looked at him. "i love you so much," i told him. he had decided to take me out on a date to olive garden, knowing that's one of my favorite places to eat. he smiled at me and got up, coming over to sit next to me on the side of the booth i was sitting on. i smiled and laid my head on his shoulder, and our waitress came and gave us our bill. after fighting for about 10 minutes, i finally gave in and let matt pay the bill.

we left and made our way back out to his car, getting in and driving back to the triplets house. he grabbed my hand as he started driving, and i connected my phone to the aux, playing wurli by dominic fike. he squeezed my hand as we kept driving, and i quietly dang along to the music, looking out the window. matt pulled up to a red light, and in the car mirror i could see a car still speeding up to the light, and then boom. they had rear ended us, making me and matt lunge forward, and then back to where our backs hit the seat.

"fuck. baby, you okay?" matt said, immediately looking over at me to make sure i'm okay. i nodded and looked at him, "are you?" i asked and he nodded, before getting out of the car. i stayed in there for a minute, before getting out, walking to the back of the car to see how bad it was. the person that hit us and matt were exchanging insurance info and whatever other info they needed. eventually the cops showed up, and walked over to us. "what happened?" the cop asked me. "my boyfriend was driving, we got to the red light and then they rear ended us," i told him, and he nodded.

he went over to talk to the person that hit us, and matt came over to me, wrapping his arms around me. "are you sure you're okay? you didn't hit your head on the window or anything?" matt asked. "i did, but not bad, i'm okay," i smiled at him, leaning up to kiss him. "are you sure?" he asked as we pulled away. "it was like a little tap baby, it wasn't hard. i promise i'm okay," i told him and he nodded. "good, i need to keep you safe," he said, as the cop left and everyone was on their way.

idk if i like this one i'll probably delete it oh well
