summary! in which you go on a little trip with the triplets :)
y/n's POV today we were going on a trip, and we didn't know where. this was another one of laura's surprises, and she invited me, which made me happy. we were on the road for about an hour, and then we stopped at dairy queen, for a bathroom break, but also for some ice cream. eventually we got there, and it was late and we were tired so we immediately went to bed. nick and chris shared a bed, and me and matt shared a bed. we laid down, and matt immediately pulled me closer to him, and we both fell asleep almost immediately after our heads touched the pillows.
it was the next morning and i was awake, matt was kinda awake but also still asleep, so i just laid there and waited for him to be fully awake, i didn't mind laying around for a little while. although, matt did take all the blankets last night. nick came in vlogging, and i started talking about how matt was a blanket hogger all night. nick walked to the other side of the bed, and saw all of the blanket on matt's side of the bed. "matt," nick said. "you wanna know what's crazy too?" matt spoke up. "what?" nick asked. "i'm really hot," matt replied. "that's what you get for hogging the blankets," i told him.
i got up and got ready for the day, and went downstairs while matt got ready. eventually he came downstairs, and he was excited when he saw the frosted flakes sitting on the counter. "oooh no one ate them," he said. "i told you," nick said to chris. we all ate breakfast, and then we went out for the day. we stopped by into some place, with baby raccoons. i was too busy looking at them, because they're so cute, and i turned to see matt holding on. "babyy," i said, walking over to him. "they're so cute," i said, carefully the petting the head of the raccoon matt was holding.
"you wanna hold him baby?" matt asked me. "no, i'm afraid i'll drop him," i said, and he smiled and kept holding the raccoon. "he's so cute though," i smiled, petting him again. after we were done with the raccoons, we went to a little shop, before going to an arcade for about 10 minutes, and then we went to a vintage clothing shop. and then after that, we went to get something to eat. we were standing in line and i went and wrapped my arms around matt from behind, laying my head on his back, and he put his hands on top of mine.
we ordered our food, i wasn't really hungry so matt told me that i could just share his crepe with him. we went outside to a table and sat down, and ate and talked. after eating, we went and found a little pretty place, and we were just gonna hang out and take pictures. nick and chris climbed up and found an old zip line wire, and chris being chris, decided to start throwing sticks at us. "chris if one of those hits me i'm dumping all your pepsis out and never buying you them again," i threatened. "i don't think it's nice to throw sticks at your brother," nick told him.
eventually we made our way back to the cabin, and me and matt made cookies, while chris and nick sat there on their phones. matt started vlogging nick and chris, talking about the fan experience they had today, with the girl yelling colby jack at them, and i wrapped my arms around him, and he kissed my head, still vlogging nick and chris. we hung out for a little bit after that, and we decided to go to bed a little earlier since we were leaving early the next morning, going back home. me and matt made our way to our room, and i changed into a t shirt and matt's sweats, and he was changed into sweats when i came out of the bathroom, we laid down and he pulled me into him, kissing my head.
"did you have fun baby?" he asked, and i smiled and nodded. "mhm, i enjoy stuff like this, it's nice to be away from home," i smiled. "i completely agree with you," he smiled. "alright, go to sleep, we have to be up early," he smiled, leaning down to kiss me. "i love you," i told him as we pulled away, leaning my head on his chest. "i love you more gorgeous," he kissed me head, and we fell asleep.
