ETHERION REALM

-Ered Village-
While the other women were trembling in dread, Leonard's interest in learning more about Kaira increased. He could tell she was going to reveal her true form when he saw her wolf-like fangs.

"Leo~"

It would have been better if Lee hadn't shown up. Kaira became conscious of her actions, realizing that her fangs had appeared. She quickly moved back, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. She seems so overtaken with regret that tears have begun to well up in her eyes.

"Breakfast is... ready..." his enthusiasm waned in an instant as the tension between the two increased. He turned to gaze at Leonard while feeling bothered by what had happened. He then turned his attention to Kaira, who was trying to hold back a tear. Her lower lip was being bit by her teeth as her shoulders trembled.

She eventually couldn't control herself, so she fled the place with a heavy heart. Leonard scoffed as he moved past Lee while feeling nothing, not even noticing that he might have offended the lady.

'Leo! What have you done?' he questioned to stop Leonard.

'Nothing...' Leonard's short reply, taking a pause. Lee was not satisfied with his younger twin's response that he grabbed Leonard by the shoulder, pulling him to the front. Soon, both of his hands are on Leonard's shoulders, shaking them to awaken his senses.

'Answer me!' he growled after three shakes.

'I have told you. I've done nothing.' The same answer came out of Leonard's mind. He could have offended the lady, yet he denied that. What an attitude for a Young Prince.

As the twins clashed their teeth against each other, Kaira dashed into her room, scouting each corner of her drawers as if she was looking for something. Well, she truly was searching for something. Her breath was catching up with each beat of her scared heart while her body rapidly scanned the place. In the end, she found what she was looking for. And what could it be? A bottle of greenish liquid with a smell of water.

The morning arrived when the villagers of both genders carried long logs and pulled them up using a rope. The mages, wearing their black cloaks, recite their lines as they glow a vivid green light. While working on their specific tasks, Leviathan and Leonard were sitting in the chief's hut with a tensed atmosphere circling around. In front of them was the father of Kaira, who has a bittersweet smile. He was near to tasting his success. "Shall we arrange their wedding?" he asked, opening the conversation.

"Wedding? Shouldn't they get to know each other first?" Leviathan countered with an answer, straightening his back as he folded his arms. He remained unsure of the reason why the village chief wanted her daughter to be married off to a high official, aside from getting benefits from it like owning a wider territory. You see, Leviathan was a father and his sons were a product of an arranged marriage in his youth.

"Oh... Sure, sure..." he tried to hide the disappointment in his tone, but the father and the son could see through him.

'Are you still in this?' Leviathan scowled indirectly at the Chief. Leonard was equally concerned about the princess' state, although he might not show it, he was s still a kind person.

'Right now, I am unsure. I do pity the princess, but...' he cut his statement short, hearing thuds outside the hunt. Leonard's eyebrow raised in the sense that it was his older twin, and he made sure that it was really him by excusing himself.
