CHAPTER THIRTY
THE TWINNING FATE
---*---IMPERIUM REALM
-Training Camp-
After browsing the entire library's archives for a day and a half, the Princess Consort left her with an impression of awe at her double-bladed statements. Her physique may have weakened, but her mind is sharper than anyone else, to the point that if someone could hear their statements, they would have a lingering thought of fear. Her simple tone and glares will make one cower as she creates her own spotlight—that's the young genius of the Oliver fief.
Those were the traits that Miri liked about the Princess Consort. Before eventually leaving their conversation in her head, she looked at the shattered mirror and noticed a withered rose that had lost its glow. 'Even a pretty rose like you withers,' she touched it as she approach, touching the petals as it slowly reached the floor. When the last petal hit the scattered papers, Miri left her tent.Reach.
Strolling with her thoughts coming into her head, she soon recalled Dahrleen's offer to marry one of her sons. Unfortunately, both of them were preoccupied by one lady. One is betrothed, as the other had hidden feelings that she doubted he knew.
Sigh.
'How bothersome,' she said, opening her notebook as she kept pacing the pathway with clear trunks. The rays of the sun hit her directly, making her feel exhaustion she had never felt before. "A transparent hair?" Miri's eyes widened as she read the copy of the prophecy.
Vaguely familiar with the description, she was intrigued by the words forming in each verse. She already had an idea of who the people involved in it were. Yet again, she must prove her theories, as she's a scholar.
To start with, she bothered the Young Princes of each kingdom by asking them questions about a dream.
"A lady with transparent hair?" Young Prince Lekham Ace Marino of the Assher Kingdom titled his head lightly as he tried to recall his previous dreams. "Mmm... none."
Shrug.
Unfortunately, he was unable to remember any of his dreams. That goes the same with the other young princes.
"I am afraid I remember none as well," the Young Prince Lindon Sean Vayu of the Ahze King politely replied as he followed a question while wiping the dust on his blade." "Why do you ask? "He wondered.
"That's... confidential." Miri avoided eye contact, hesitating whether to trust the Young Princes of the other kingdom. She was close to their younger sisters, and she heard their complaints about their older brother's behavior.
Therito Young Prince, Laurel Aaron Demeter, could not hide his terrible expression, suddenly shivering while somewhat becoming pale. Miri noticed his complexion and gave him a side eye so he could answer. Obediently yet terrified by her expression, he stuttered, "The only dreams I had were about war and Dark Magi."
"Similarly," Young Prince Lorenzo Abel Hayes of the Fatrah Kingdom had the same complexion as the Therito Young Prince but was rather calmer in state.
When Miri's hope was about to crumble, the twins of Tahomma Kingdom appeared with a sweating body.
"What a pain!" Leonard, who had long hair, was frustrated by the strands sticking close to his mouth, as Lee had no problem with this hair day. All he wanted was to change their messy clothes and dry his wet body.
"Leo, let's take a bath now," he moaned like a child, clinging to his younger twin. Alas, Leonard was already in such an irritated state that his twin's touch was bothersome to him. Pulling his arm out of Lee as the other teased him more.
"Let go!"
"Leo!" Lee, however, was as stubborn as a child.Grab.
Reach!
In the middle of them arguing like young boys, Miri intentionally interrupted them.
"What about the two of you?" a casual tone reached the twin's ears, equally giving Miri a stare of questions.
