ETHERION REALM

-Tahomma Kingdom-
Etherion residents lived a long life for at least a millennium. They had witnessed events from timeline after timeline. They were divided into mainly five kins according to their perspective kingdom. However, to maintain the balance and well-being of each country, an empire was established.

The Emperor's bloodline came from Thala, or simply the Dark Guardians. He watched over his son, the current King of Tahomma, and his wife, the Queen of Tahomma. Of course, as the emperor, he must remain equal to his subordinates, even if they are 'family'. He must not view them his own flesh and blood. Ironically speaking, he may be a cold man but he actually cares for them.

The King of Tahomma was responsible for keeping reality in his hands. Aside from being The Pen and the Sword of the Empire, he must constantly check the land to see if it's under an illusion or if it's functioning well. And his wife, the Queen of Tahomma, was the opposite of the king. Why? Because the queen was responsible for the dreams of the empire. She's often referred to as The Dream Manipulator rather than 'The Mind of the Empire'.

"She hates you?" said Dahrleen Leticia Santos, the mother of Lee and Leonard and the Queen in Training. She brushed Leonard's long hair while he was seated on the matted floor with his legs crossed. His mother was sitting on a chair, where his hair rested on her lap. "I don't think that's the case."

"What do you mean?" he asked, slightly tilting his head, but Dahrleen used her hands to force him to only face the front. The window door was fully opened, revealing the blue garden below the terrace. The garden was exclusively for Dahrleen and was a wedding anniversary gift from her husband. There were only blue flowers and blue gardening accessories; even the leaves were blue.

"I believe that the lady does not fully hate you. Let's just say she is uncomfortable with your presence," she continued, brushing his hair gently.

"Wha-?" came a confused intonation from Leonard, arching a brow with his head moving.

"Leo, please refrain your head from moving," demanded Dahrleen with a serious expression, making Leonard behave himself. "Haiz..." she sighed before adding a statement. "Remember when you were newly introduced to the Academy?"

"Huh, why the sudden flashback?" Leonard wondered, nevertheless, he answered the question of her mother after scouting his memories. "Mmm... I was stingy to everyone."

'...'

"Oh..." His eyelids dropped when he realized where his mother was going.

She laughed at him, continuing to talk. "And after a little while, you were comfortable with them because..." she cut her statement for Leonard to digest the thought. Well, his son was not so dense that he was able to grasp the idea after a few seconds.

"Thank you, mother," he smiled, not moving from his position. She patted his head while tying his hair into a braid. 'Mother, please stop tying my hair like that.'

Sob.

'My son must be internally crying because I am playing with his hair again...' she giggled. 'Ah, I can't believe time truly flies so fast.'

Dahrleen's smile had sadness on it due to the fact that her children had grown to be men capable of leading their country. Now, all of her hard work nursing them is starting to pay off. She could not be more proud than anyone else. "Now, go out and look for her desire."
