CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE
REALITY AND DREAMS---*---
AHDOR REALM-under a cave-
Deep in slumber, his long, white hair was rested on a bed made of smooth limestones as he slept without knowing what's happening. His worried wife sat bedside him as she close her eyes, reciting chants until she had fallen asleep. Her silent snores was an indication that she already reached the boarders of her conscious state, naturally flopping beside her sleeping husband. Tears slowly ran down her soft cheeks, involuntarily calling for his name.
"Levi..."
Sigh.
"That's a forbidden technique," the King of Tahomma Kingdom, Leviath Simon Santos spoke with a worried tone. He looked at his consort's figure, realizing how much she had shrunk in his point of view.
She was once hailed mighty and strong. A female knight with a noble bloodline that once lead The Shield Forces of the empire. Originally, she wanted to become an imperial mage but she ought to change her mind when she was rescued by a female warrior. A warrior that stood tall with a strong aura wrapping her body. Her sharp gazes spoke authority as her breath made spines shiver.
Since she already mastered a lot of magical incantations and spells, she soon took combat classes and pursued into being a dame.
The Shield Forces had no head at that time. Therefore, she aimed for that spot.
In her glorious days, she met the head of The Civil Knights, Leviath, who was still under his title "Prince Leviath Simon Santos al Tahomma."
Young love unexpectedly grew to their blissful days as he was mesmerized by her elegance and strength. Whenever he sees her, his pupils will widened with admiration as the time suddenly slowed down.
"You must have forgotten who I am," however, her voice got weaker as her body gradually become frail. He looked at her again with overflowing concern.
"My Luna," he mumbled, clutching the a robe near his chest.
Smile.
"My Sol," she smiled while reaching him. Instinctively, he bent down for Antonia's hands to touch his skin. As her cold palms were placed on his cheeks, he held one using his right hand. While his eyes were closed, Antonia could read his expression by just looking at his quivering lips. "I'll wither soon."
Swish.
He wanted to show anger but how can he be mad at his wife? He possess the title of "The Reality of the Empire", so must he face the harsh reality as his wife dreamt a blissful one? Whichever ever it was, he couldn't accept their fate.
"Wither?" he let out a sarcastic chuckle, finally opening his eyes while lending Antonia his robe. "The flowers in our cherry tree hasn't even blossomed yet."
Antonia partly opened her mouth to say something but her words were pushed back in her tongue, digesting it in her stomach. She knew that her words cut deeper than her blade yet she dared to hurt her distressed husband.
"Instead of watching the seasons, shall we see the sun rise and set?" It was a childish request. A request in which she cannot turn down. She only released a sigh, chuckling lowly as she smiled.
"And let's count the stars under the moonlight."
His heart was now in ease that he bobbed his head. Leviath moved to her side, lending his shoulder for her head to rest.
