ETHERION REALM

-a camp-
After the rain of blood and terror in the Imperium Realm, the vassal of the Emperor had the decision to divide the troops of each kingdom to fight in either realms.

"Make haste!" from his rising tone of voice, it was clear that he was already stressed out. Added by the papers he had in his palm and the black bags beneath his eyes. The absence of the Tahomma Kingdom's pillars left the realm's status unbalanced. Since when have they gone wrong for the Heavens to punish them like this?

As Tahomma twin were stationed in the Etherion Realm with the Assher siblings, foes of the opposing forces began to march abnormally.

"FIRE!" shouted the leader as cannons of flaming balls flew over their heads, exploding that left the grounds in flames.

The crimson battlefield grumbled louder than the hungry stomach of the fighting warriors, wavering their names of honor.

"Tsk," Leonard clicked his tongue as his hair stick on his sweating face. By just a week, his hair grew long quickly. It was always his problem how to maintain the length of his hair. But right now, he had no right to think for his personal problems that he let his messy hair stands stuck to his sweaty neck.

Heave...

"Ha..." he exhaled as wipe the blood near his lips. Although it was not his blood, he felt disgusted by linger taste and smell. 'For the love of the Imperium.'

Lee that was behind him started coughing blood that his subordinates hurriedly aided him.

Ha...

"Call for Kaira," the cold voice of Leonard no longer bothered nor feared them. Months of training and siding on his wing, they got used to his icy gaze and his freezing aura.

As what he ordered, Kaira, who was bearing her fangs immediately transformed back to her normal state.

She inhaled and, "HA!" casted a Healing Spell. The dull light of green floated around Lee's chest, warming his heart and lungs.

Unfortunately, Kaira could not caste another since he energy was already low that she was not able to completely heal Lee. Looking at his unusual pale complexion, Kaira wished to help him out more.

Meanwhile, Leonard's brows were knitted as he observe his older twin's state. 'His body was frail to begin with,' so it was no longer a surprise for him to see his Lee fainting. But it still pained him whenever he had seizures and a week long coma during their youth. 'Brother...'

"Is this the last wave?" a warrior released cool air from his lungs, sweating profusely.

Shrug.

Leonard's eyes widened to activate his vision. His sonic hearing was also set to reconfirm things. A long trail of burned grounds with knocked down trees with lifeless corpse of unknown creatures was what he saw. Instead of living trees and thick bushes, here were arrows and broken spears planted on the dark soil.

He soon heard distant cries and abundant mourns rather than the prosperous cheers.

Squeeze.

He had enough that he deactivated his sight and hearing abilities.

Partially lucky, that was the last wave of the Dark Magi. "Apparently," he responded as he put his sword back on the sheath. He moved his head and pointed back to the camp using his chin.
