CHAPTER FORTY
KING OF THE DARK MAGI

---*---
ETHERION REALM

-a battlefield-
The fighting warriors that was in the Imperium Realm was quickly summoned in the Etherion Realm.

"Lady Kaira!" Young Princess Liekki Sandra Hayes of the Fatrah Kingdom rushed towards Kaira to ask something. "A-About Miri..." she hesitated for a moment, wishing that the news regarding the death of their genius friend was somehow fake. However, Kaira nodded sadly to confirm that it was a legit news.

The other Young Princesses that heard the news was deeply saddened by her sudden ending. None of them expected her to die in such a young age. Nevertheless, they will mourn for her later.

That is, if they survived the wrath of the King of the Dark Magi.

Scales that's sturdier than any shield shone purple glow as his wide wings created swirls of wind that's stronger to the strength of a hurricane storm. His fangs could gnash any flesh without difficulty as swords couldn't be parred to his claws. His nostrils heaved smoke as his roar spread throughout the realms, causing a partial shake of the crimson grounds.

"What kind of creature is that?" pointed Young Prince Lindon of the Ahze Kingdom as he point out the Dark Magi King.

In the Humania Realm, the King of the Dark Magi was equivalent to a western dragon; famous to European folklores and mythologies.

ROAR!

It continued to show his superiority amongst all kinds by a tremendous voice.

The warriors barely held their weapons properly as they gulp their dry saliva that even their throats fled down. Sweat gradually rolled their chins, hoping that they would return in one piece. Alas, they are the Guardians of the realm—they were destined to die in honor of protecting their vast lands.

Young Prince Laurel of Therito Kingdom knelt a knee as his fingers touched the crimson grounds, pressing his fingers on the dirt as he cast a spell. "Let us make haste!"

Nod.

"I agree," Leonard grabbed a ribbon that was around his waist, gathering his hair to tie it up. "Brother, you should tie your hair like this."

He handed half of the ribbon, proudly demonstrating how it should be done. Lee finds it amusing that he let out a short laugh, cradling a faith to their predetermined lives.

Tie.

"Aw, come on! Let Young Prince Lee's hair be so we would know the difference." Young Prince Lekham opposed the idea to somehow ease the swirling tension of the incoming storm by cracking a statement.

"Enough with the chit-chat," his younger sister, Young Princess Lophelia slapped his back while forming a water ball on her palm.

Blub.

The spell of the Therito Young Prince was finished, making the grounds shake as horns make a sound.

Horn...

An indication for them to charge forth while carrying their families name with honor.

As they continued charging with their lives to offer the once peaceful realm, their bloods watered the soil for the hopes that the new seeds will sprout soon. The parents of the young rulers appeared sooner, the quest that was given by the Emperor was finally fulfilled. They now must lend their power to their children, after all, they were the parents of the young rulers.

"Gosh... I apologize, children," the Queen of the Ahze Kingdom, Queen Lovelace Ava Vayu created a hurling wind as her King Consort Maximilian Spencer Vayu* supported her by lending his energy to make the wind stronger, believing that it will be parred to the strength of the Dark Magi King. However, their hopes crumbled along the falling mountains.
