***ARI POV***
The bus and trucks arrive at Carthago, an old British airfield. Rachel ended up having to drive through a bust to open the gate, but it was our only way on. Once we stopped on the airstrip everyone assumed positions. We started loading everyone off the trucks and bus, knowing...hoping the plane would be there soon. Max went up to the observation tower to try and get us some lighting and to watch for the Army that may be following us.
Sammy and I took large glowsticks and started walking up opposite sides of the runway laying down a landing strip that the plane could see when, if it got here.
"When are they supposed to be here?" Max came through the walkie talkies we had.
"I don't know, why?" I asked.
"We have company. Nine kilometers out." Max said and I knew he meant Colonel Abdel Ahmed and his troops.
"Should we get everyone back on the trucks and bus?" Angela asked in the walkie talkie she had.
I stood and thought for a second.
"No, there's still time." I said.
Once Sammy and I were done lighting the runway we ran back to the group of refugees who were now off the bus and trucks. There was no sign of the plane coming and I was starting to get nervous.
"Come on Walton, you motherfucker." I grumbled. I looked around in the sky and didn't see anything. "Shit, come on." I grumbled again.
"We should get everyone back on the bus and trucks and get the fuck out of here." Rachel said voicing her opinion. I didn't know what to answer.
"Okay, fine. Get everyone back inside." Sammy said making a judgement call.
"No, wait! Listen!" Kabede said he was standing there with us. We all went silent and that when we heard it, the low rumble of what sounded like a plane. They got close to the airstrip and turned on their lights so they could see and didn't need to worry about being stealth anymore. They landed on the runway and then taxied around so we could start loading everyone in the back.
I knew we didn't have much time with Colonel Abdel Ahmed being right on our heels so we started loading everyone up as quickly as we could. Walton was on the cargo plane as well and was helping us get everyone in. Once everyone was in the Army was on the airstrip chasing down the plane and shooting at us but nothing was hitting. We closed the hatch and we were in the air. I looked at Sammy and smiled.
"We are going home." Sammy said and I nodded. He hugged me and I hugged him back. This nightmare was over.
I went back to the cargo area of the plane and sat next to Kabede. He smiled at me and I pulled out the picture of me and Jordan.
"I have never seen a better pairing than you and Jordan. You need to marry her Ari." Kabede said and I smiled at him.
"I plan on it." I said. I leaned by head back and just drifted off to a sleep full of dreams of being home, holding Jo.
***JORDAN POV***
I was sleeping in my room when there was a knock on my bedroom door and then it opened.
"Jo...wake up." Ike said and I groggily sat up.
"Yeah?" I asked rubbing my eyes.
"Ethan is on the phone." Ike said and I quickly picked up the phone in my room that I had the ringer turned off too.
"Ethan?!" I asked panicked.
"Jordan, I need you to pack a bag and your passport. I will be there to pick you up in 20 minutes." Ethan said and I looked at my clock.
"Ethan's it 2am..." I said and he groaned.
"Just get ready Jo. I will explain when I pick you up." Ethan said and I grumbled but hung up and started packing. I kissed my dad's cheek as I walked out of my room and he was still in the hallway. He followed me down the stairs.
"What's going on?" Ike asked and I shrugged as I slipped on my tennis shoes.
"I have no clue, he just said I have to go. I will be back, I promise." I said as I saw the car pull in the driveway. I kissed his cheek and rushed out of the house, down to the car and got in the backseat with Ethan.
"What is going on?" I asked and he looked at me.
"Well it seems like you are going to be needed for one more small mission in Israel."
"Israel...what is happening there?" I asked and Ethan shrugged, and I groaned.
"Why are you being so tightlipped?" I asked.
"I know what I have told you. We were both called in by Walton and he needs our help on something in Israel." Ethan said and I sighed. I leaned my head back on the seat and just rested until we got to the airport and boarded the private plane we had waiting for us.
Once we were situated on the plane Ethan looked at me and sighed.
"You should get some more sleep. I will wake you up when we are close to landing. I think you'll have to hit the ground running so you'll want to be ready." Ethan said and once the plane took off I was brought a pillow and blanket quickly drifting off the sleep dreaming of the man I did every time I closed my eyes.

We arrived at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel we got off our plane and into a car that took us around to the other side of the airport to a bigger runway and I was confused. I saw tons of military vehicles and medical personnel.
"Ethan? What is going on?" I asked. Before he could answer me a huge cargo plane flew overhead of us coming in for a landing.
"Did Walton get the plane?" I asked and Ethan smiled.
"He did, he came through." Ethan said and I smiled. Once the plane stopped and soon the back hatch was opening. I watched all the refuges start coming off and my heart got hopeful, was I going to see him? Was he alive? Did he make it? Were any of them even on the plane or was it just refugees?
I watched on bated breath, I saw Kabede come off the plane, leaning on someone...he was injured. Who was he leaning on. I watched and I saw exactly who it was. I looked at Ethan with a smile.
"Go." Ethan said and we saw Kabede get on a stretcher with one of the medical staff.
"ARI!" I yelled running through the crowd of refugees. He looked up and saw me and we started running towards each other. Once I reached him I jumped on him wrapping my legs around his waist, arms around his neck, he wrapped his arms around me and held me to him. Our lips crashed together as we passionately kissed. There was no breaking this kiss as his tongue found it's way into my mouth and our tongues danced together in perfect harmony like we hadn't been apart for almost 7 months. Once we broke apart to catch our breath, we leaned our foreheads against one another's as he still held me up. I had closed my eyes just praying if when I opened my eyes that this wouldn't be a dream.
"Look at me Jo, I need to see you." Ari's voice said and I smiled hearing it. I opened my eyes and pulled my face away from his. He looked at me and I smiled seeing his face. I brought my hands around to cup his face and smiled.
"Welcome home Ari." I said and he smiled and gave me another small kiss. He then set me down as Max, Rachel, Jake and Sammy all came walking over and I hugged all of them.
"I'm so happy you all made it home." I said as Ari wrapped his arms around me from the back. I smiled back at him.
"I just want to get home and sleep for days." Sammy said and I laughed.
"Well before you sleep you know where we have to go." I said and he smiled.
"That sounds like a great plan." Sammy said and I smiled at him.
