*~COMPLETE~* Jordan Scofield was left for dead by her extraction team in Ethiopia while trying to get refugees out of a war-torn country. She was left by everyone and had no way to contact anyone to get home.
Now, 6 months later, while still hiding...
I was getting ready in the bathroom for a date night with Ari when he came walking in and smiled at me doing my make up. It had been a few weeks since I met Maya and everything. We decided Ari's place was fine for us now, we actually liked having the close quarters and being together. He walked up behind me and placed his hands on my hips.
"I love you." Ari whispered in my ear. I smiled at his reflection in the mirror.
"I love you." I said and turned my head slightly and gave him a small kiss.
"So I was thinking, before dinner we could go walk that lantern tour downtown...It's supposed to be amazing to see." Ari said and I smiled.
"I think that sounds perfect." I said and he smiled. I finished getting ready and he spun me to look at him. He placed a hand on my cheek and I leaned into his touch. I then smiled.
"You have a good day with Maya?" I asked as we left the bathroom and headed to the front door.
"I did, we went to the park, in fact she suggested we go there." Ari said and I smiled.
"Well then I think it's a perfect place to go." I said as we walked out of the apartment and got in the car. We took the short drive to the park and once we got out I noticed how beautiful it looked. Ari took my hand as we started walking through the park.
As we were walking, we stopped in front of some flowers that were made out of lanterns that were beautiful.

"Jo..." Ari said, and I turned me to face him as he got down on one knee. I gasped.
"What are you -...?"
"Jordan Scofield, we met in the most unconventional way. You were left at that resort and I couldn't believe you had survived and were such a badass doing everything you had to do to survive. I knew I had to get to know you and be with you. I never knew it would turn out to be where we had to play a married couple but us being together, like that, being forced together, I knew it was meant to last. We may have been Guy and Dove Thomas, newlyweds but right now I want to be Ari and Jordan Levinson, newlyweds. It all starts with you saying yes to me Jordan. I love you and I would love it if you would please say yes to becoming my wife." Ari said. My eyes filled with tears the minute I saw him down on his knee and I knew what he was doing and I couldn't believe it. I looked at the ring and noticed it wasn't his mother's ring. This was almost identical but there was a diamond on it. I realized he was down on his knee waiting for me to answer him since the answer that was screaming in my head hadn't left my mouth yet.
"YES!" I exclaimed, Ari jumped up and I smiled as he passionately kissed me. He slipped the ring on my finger and I looked down at it and smiled.
"I know it's not what you were expecting but that will be your wedding band." Ari said and I smiled. I just shook my head and cupped his cheeks.
"It's perfect, I love it and I love you future husband." I said as Ari leaned in and passionately kissed me.
"Future wife." He said leaning his forehead against mine once we broke apart.

A few weeks later, Ari and I decided we did not want to wait and just having a simple wedding. Sammy and Kelsie were maid of honor and best man, my dad was there to give me away, Rachel, Max and Jake were all able to come as well as Ethan. We wanted everyone there that meant something to us. Sarah and Maya even came and Maya made me a bouquet of paper flowers and it was perfect.
We found a small church in town and we knew it would be perfect for our wedding. Ari and I walked in together.
"So you two just throw caution to the wind and care nothing about tradition...?" Max asked and we laughed.
"Was anything about our relationship normal? Why start now?" I asked and everyone gave a small laugh. The pastor of the church came walking back to all of us.
"Are we all ready?" He asked and I looked at Ari with a smile.
"More than you'll ever know." I said and everyone smiled. Ari, Sammy and Kelsie walked to the front of the church, everyone else took a seat and I linked my arm in my dad's.
"You happy?" Ike asked.
"So happy." I said and he smiled.
"That's all I want for you. He better treat you right." Ike said.
"He will, I promise." I said. Ike kissed my cheek as we got the motion from the pastor to walk down the aisle. Once we reached the end of the aisle my dad shook Ari's hand and then he took mine. We stood in front of the pastor and I smiled at Ari.
"You both have your own vows prepared right?" The pastor asked and we nodded. He looked at me and smiled.
"You may go first." He said, I took a deep breath.
"Ari Levinson, when you showed up at the resort with your band of misfits -..." I said and everyone laughed "I didn't know you would be the biggest misfit of them all. Even though we started a friendship when you asked me to be co-leader with you I didn't know this would turn into what we are now. We had to be married for the mission but it gave me a better understanding of who you were as a person and what mattered most to you. What mattered to you was family, friends and love. The love you showed me while we were there together was so strong, I didn't know it would get stronger when I had to be sent home. I was mad at you at first but I understood, that your love for me outweighed being with me losing me. You were and will always be everything to me Ari Levinson. I love you with everything inside of me and I can not wait to have a future with you, a family with you and a lifetime of love and happiness with you." I said as Kelsie handed me the ring for Ari and I placed it on his finger. He looked at saw waves etched on the ring. He smiled and sighed knowing it was his turn.
"I don't know what else I could possibly say to you that I haven't said a million times. I love you Jordan. You were everything to me from the minute I saw you, I asked you to be co-leader so I could protect you, I needed to know you were safe and unharmed. Soon you became more important to me than anything else excepting the mission itself. You were my everything and will continue to be my everything. I cant wait to take the next steps in out life together. You becoming my wife, a stepmom to Maya and hopefully a mother to our own children and everything between. I love you Jo and I promise to make sure you realize how much I do every day." Ari said and slipped on his moms wedding band to go with my engagement ring.
"The vows have been said, the commitment has been made, as long as no one here can show just cause why these two should not be married..." The pastor said and we all looked around at everyone. Everyone just sat with smiles. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." The pastor said and Ari smiled pulling me gently to him.
"I love you." Ari whispered as his lips brushed mine.
"I love you more husband." I said and he smiled as he passionately kissed me.
