*Hayden's POV*

I woke up to a pitch black room. I sat up quickly and looked around, trying to make out where I was until someone muffled and moved beside me. Cassie.

I'm in her hospital room with her. I slowly climbed out of her bed and slid on my shoes.

"Hayden, where are you going," Cassie asked me, still half sleep.

"Just go to sleep baby. I'll be right back," and then I left the room.

I walked down the hallway and looked around for a bit until I realized I need to call my family. So I called my mom.

"Mom?"

"Hayden, do you realize it is 4:00 in the morning?" She asked in a sleepy voice.

"Yeah yeah. Where are you guys?" I asked.

"We went home. Hayes wanted to stay there so he should be in that hospital somewhere."

"Why'd you guys leave me?"

"You cried yourself to sleep kneeling down next to Cassie so we helped you into the bed next to her and we saw that you'd probably be sleeping all night so we left..."

"And Hayes?"

"He didn't think you'd be comfortable there alone if you woke up so he volunteered to stay," mom told me.

"Oh. Well I guess I'll go look for him then..." I trailed off.

"Yeah go do that. See ya," my mom rushed to end the conversation.

I shook my head, chuckling a little bit and went to look around for Hayes. I walked to the first place that came to mind.

I walked into the cafeteria to see Hayes sitting at a two person table sipping his cup.

"Hey stranger," I smiled walking over to him.

"Hey," he yawned. He had bags under his eyes.

"Have you been up all night?" I asked.

"Yeah," he nodded.

"Oh my gosh Hayes. Come on," I said taking his coffee and grabbing his hand.

I dragged him down the hallway and drunk his coffee on the way.

"Hey i wanted that," he said softly. He sounded so cute.

"Well now you can't." We reached Cassie's room and I picked her up. She laid her head onto my neck.

"Hayes lay down," I told him.

"I'm not taking your sister's bed," he refused.

"Look Hayes. The doctors want her to get her rest before she goes back for testing....which she will be doing now come on."

"When did they remove her little ruble thingy?" He asked laying down.

"Her IV? I don't know. Maybe while we were sleeping."

He shrugged and I climbed in next to him on the little bed. And since the bed was small, I was close to Hayes while Cassie laid on my chest.

"Wow she's heavier than she was before I left," I giggled.

"You guys are adorable," Hayes smiled. I could faintly see his smile in the dark.

"Go to sleep Hayes," I commanded and pulled the sheets over all of us.

"Yes ma'am," he agreed and got comfortable on the pillow. Soon I was hearing soft snores from Hayes and Cassie. I smiled at the thought of these two being by me.

I closed my eyes and waited for the next day to come...
