*Hayden's POV*

I sat there attempting to do my math homework and I nearly threw my laptop to the wall. I will never need to know the law of sines so why care?

I closed my laptop and got up from my bed to grab a water bottle. I rubbed my temples to try and clear my mind ache as the thought of that homework reoccurred.

The first thing to pop up in my head was Hayes when I attempted to get it off math.

After that great night, I didn't know how to feel. Like everything seems like we're 20 year olds in movie playing the roles of an on off couple.

Still thinking, I slipped on my slides and left my hotel room. My feet basically dragged as I made my way to Hayes's room. When I knocked, a smirking Nash answered.

"Oh look, your girlfriend for the 500th time is here."

"Shut up Nash," I heard Hayes from behind Nash somewhere.

Nash moved aside to let me in as I went to sit on the edge of Hayes's bed.

"Hey Hayden."

"Sup Hayes."

"Hayden what are you wearing," Nash asked in disgust.

"Basketball shorts?" I said, it coming out as more of a question.

"You played basketball?"

"Never. I just found them," I answered.

"I can tell," Nash said.

"Ok fashion police, you can leave," Hayes spoke up, a small grin on his face.

"Why? I can already tell you won't be able to keep that in your pants so why don't I just supervise?"

A stupid smirk played on Nash's face once more as I turned around to look at Hayes, sitting on the bed, head resting against the backboard.

"Hayes, take your hand out of your pants," I told him.

"I'm not doing anything. My hands are just cold," he shrugged with a lazy expression.

I sighed heavily and climbed to where he was on the bed. I grabbed his forearm and pulled it, making his hand come from his pants.

I took his arm and put it around me and held his hand to warm it as I leaned into his side.

"Y'all disgust me," Nash cringed before getting up.

"Okay Lil Camren," Hayes yelled to Nash as he was halfway out the door.

"Shut up!"

Me and Hayes laughed at him.

We laid there in silence for what felt like forever.

"Hayden, what do you wanna be when you get older?"

"I don't know. I guess a pro dancer....or a scientist. Or...yeah I don't know."

I felt his chin rest on top of my head. His heartbeat was slow and steady and I enjoyed listening to it.

"Hayes, are we...what are we?"

"Probably whatever we wanna be."

I looked up at him and he was smiling softly.

"Good," I smirked and reached up to give his neck a quick kiss before returning to my original position.

His heart started beating faster and I smiled at the the thought of me being why.

"Do I make you nervous?" I asked.

"Um." He hesitated. "Yes"

"Why?"

"Because you do. You always have."

I smiled to myself. I sat up to look at him and noticed that his eyes were droopy.

I kissed his lips and watched his eyes slowly get bigger and more awake.

"Go to sleep Hayes, I gotta do homework anyway," I said getting up from his warmth.

"No don't leave," his voice soft when he spoke.

"I'll be back. Don't worry baby," I added the last part to throw him off.

I don't know why but me and Hayes both agreed that 'baby' had a different meaning then 'babe'. It doesn't but to us it does and I knew saying it would make him happy.

I walked to the door and grabbed the doorknob. Hayes stood up and walked to me to turn me around to face him.

"What?" I asked innocently.

He grabbed me and hugged me. He kissed my forehead and I swear that was so perfect.

We pulled away from  the hug and he kissed my lips one more time.

"Hayes, I'm just gonna be down the hall."

"I know. I just really wanted to do that."

"Ok Mr. Gentleman." I smiled.

Opening the door, I looked at him one more time before leaving completely. Already missing him as if he werent right down the hall.
