After a rather dominant showing a couple of days ago, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return to M&T Bank Arena to play the Long Island University Sharks tonight in Hamden. With 11:26 left in the first period, Collin Graf scored his first goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. Yaniv Perets and Vinnie Purpura matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Quinnipiac maintains their 1-0 lead heading to period number two. With 5:40 left in the second period, Christophe Tellier scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-0 Bobcats. With 54 seconds left in the second period, Chris Pappas scored to make it 2-1 Quinnipiac. Perets and Purpura matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. With 4:09 left in the third period, Anthony Vincent scored to tie the game 2-2. Perets and Purpura matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra hockey because of a 2-2 tie between Quinnipiac and LIU. The two goalies matched zeros in overtime so, we'll skate to a 2-2, overtime tie. Quinnipiac shifted to 1-0-1 on the season.
