After an embarrassing loss last night, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return to Orono hoping to earn a weekend split against the Maine Black Bears tonight. With 15 minutes left in the first period, Desi Burgart scored his second goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 13:23 left in the first period, Brandon Holt scored to tie the game 1-1. Yaniv Perets and Victor Ostman matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-1 we stand after a period of play. With 19:15 left in the second period, Skyler Brind'Amour scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-1 Bobcats. With 10:50 left in the second period, Victor Czerneckianair scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-1 Quinnipiac. With 10:05 left in the second period, Jacob Quillan scored his second goal of the season to make it 4-1 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. With 3:27 left in the second period, Collin Graf scored his second goal of the season to make it 5-1 Quinnipiac. Perets and Ostman matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 5-1 Bobcats it remains heading to the third period. With 13:04 left in the third period, Cole Hanson scored to make it 5-2 Quinnipiac. With 8:10 left in the third period, Jayden Lee scored his first goal of the season to make it 6-2 Bobcats! Chase Clark finished off the Black Bears and Quinnipiac wins 6-2! Quinnipiac improved to 3-1-2 on the season!
