After pulling away to stay undefeated in conference play, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return to M&T Bank Arena to play the Rensselaer Engineers tonight in Hamden. With 15:32 left in the first period, Sam Lipkin scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 11:04 left in the first period, Victor Czerneckianair scored his third goal of the season to make it 2-0 Bobcats. With 8:30 left in the first period, Desi Burgart scored his third goal of the season to make it 3-0 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. Rensselaer Coach Dave Smith pulled Jack Watson out of the net and so, Carson Cherepak filled in for the remainder of the game. Yaniv Perets and Cherepak matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-0 Bobcats it remains heading to the second period. With 16:27 left in the second period, Joey Cippollone scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 4-0 Quinnipiac. With 13:13 left in the second period, Ryan Mahshie scored to make it 4-1 Bobcats.
