After a tremendous performance all of last weekend, the Quinnipiac Bobcats head to Providence,Rhode Island to play the Brown University Bears this evening at Meehan Auditorium. With 9:22 left in the first period, James Crossman scored to make it 1-0 Bears. Yaniv Perets and Mathieu Caron matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Brown it remains heading to the second period. With 11:07 left in the second period, Ethan de Jong scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 1-1. With 8:55 left in the second period, Tony Andreozzi scored to make it 2-1 Bruno. With 3:37 left in the second period, Jacob Quillan scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 2-2. Perets and Caron matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-2 remains our score heading to period number three. With 10:20 left in the third period, Michael Lombardi scored his second goal of the season to make it 3-2 Bobcats. With 8:23 left in the third period, Michael Lombardi scored his third goal of the season to make it 4-2 Quinnipiac. With 3:36 left in the third period, Cole Quisenberry scored to make it 4-3 for the men from Hamden! Yaniv Perets finished off the Bears and Quinnipiac wins 4-3! Quinnipiac improved to 6-1-2 on the season and 3-0-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
