After a pretty competitive game yesterday, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return to Belfast to play for the Friendship Four championship as they square off against the Massachusetts Minutemen in the aforementioned championship game. With 5:35 left in the first period, Ethan de Jong scored his sixth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. Yaniv Perets and Luke Pavicich matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Quinnipiac maintains their 1-0 lead heading to period number two. With 4:14 left in the third period, Skyler Brind'Amour scored his fourth goal of the season, on the third power play to make it 2-1 Bobcats. With 3:43 left in the third period, Michael Cameron scored to tie the game 2-2. Perets and Pavicich matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra hockey because of a 2-2 tie between Quinnipiac and Massachusetts. Perets and Pavicich matched zeros in overtime so, we'll skate to a 2-2, overtime tie. Quinnipiac shifted to 10-1-3 on the season.
