After pulling away from their opponent last time out, the Quinnipiac Bobcats head to Ithaca, New York to play the Cornell University Big Red on Friday night at Lynah Rink. With 6:16 left in the first period, Ben Berard scored to make it 1-0 Cornell. Yaniv Perets and Ian Shane matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Red it stands heading to the second period. With 11:24 left in the second period, Dalton Bancroft scored to make it 2-0 Cornell. Perets and Shane matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-0 Big Red it remains heading to the third period. With 15:27 left in the third period, Jack O'Leary scored to make it 3-0 Cornell. Coach Pecknold pulled Yaniv Perets out of the net and so, Chase Clark filled in for the remainder of the game. With 12:25 left in the third period, Ondrej Psenicka scored to make it 4-0 Big Red. Ian Shane finished off the Bobcats and Cornell wins 4-0. Quinnipiac dropped to 18-2-3 on the season and 12-1-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
