After a spectacular win a couple of days ago, the Quinnipiac Bobcats play for a spot in Tampa with a win today in the Bridgeport Regional championship game. With 18:29 left in the first period, Joe Dunlap scored to make it 1-0 Buckeyes. With 6:40 left in the first period, Christophe Fillion scored his seventh goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 6:25 left in the first period, Skyler Brind'Amour scored his fourteenth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Bobcats. Yaniv Perets and Jakob Dobes matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 in favor of
Coach Pecknold's Bobcats we stand heading to the second period. Perets and Dobes matched zeros in the second period so, 2-1 Bobcats it remains heading to the third period. With 4:30 left in the third period, Cristophe Tellier scored his seventh goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-1 Quinnipiac. With 1:57 left in the third period, Jayden Lee scored his fourth goal of the season into an empty net to make it 4-1 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats! Yaniv Perets finished off the Buckeyes and Quinnipiac wins 4-1! Quinnipiac will head to Tampa for the Frozen Four in a couple of weeks!
