After a very disappointing weekend last weekend, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return to M&T Bank Arena to participate in Connecticut Ice as they host the Sacred Heart Pioneers hoping to advance to the championship game of this pretty new tournament. With 13:09 left in the first period, Collin Graf scored his thirteenth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. Yaniv Perets and Luke Lush matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Bobcats it remains heading to the second period. With 12:29 left in the second period, Ethan de Jong scored his eleventh goal of the season to make it 2-0 Quinnipiac. With 4:14 left in the second period, Joey Cipollone scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 3-0 in favor of Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. Perets and Lush matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-0 Quinnipiac it remains heading to the third period. With 12:19 left in the third period, Collin Graf scored his fourteenth goal of the season to make it 4-0 Bobcats. With 2:23 left in the third period, TJ Friedmann scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 5-0 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats! Yaniv Perets finished off the Pioneers and Quinnipiac will play for a championship tomorrow night because of a 5-0 win! Quinnipiac improved to 19-3-3 on the season!
