After a tremendous performance last night, the Quinnipiac Bobcats will look to secure a spot in Lake Placid with a win tonight which would also end Yale's season. With 17:19 left in the first period, Michael Lombardi scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 1:31 left in the first period, Collin Graf scored his twentieth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-0 Bobcats. Yaniv Perets and Luke Pearson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Quinnipiac leads 2-0 heading to the second period. With 16:43 left in the second period, Cristophe Tellier scored his ninth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-0 Bobcats. With 8:09 left in the second period, Jacob Quillan scored his twentieth goal of the season to make it 4-0 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. With 7:50 left in the second period, Quinton Ong scored to make it 4-1 Quinnipiac. Perets and Pearson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, the Bobcats lead 4-1 heading to period number three. With 19:02 left in the third period, Reilly Connors scored to make it 4-2 Quinnipiac. With 11:46 left in the third period, Ethan de Jong scored his twentieth goal of the season, short handed to make it 5-2 Bobcats. With 8:29 left in the third period, Zach Metsa scored his tenth goal of the season to make it 6-2 in favor of Coach Pecknold's Bobcats! Chase Clark finished off the Bulldogs and Quinnipiac will play in the ECAC Hockey semifinals because of a 6-2 win and a 2-0 series win over Yale!
