After a dominant win last night, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return to M&T Bank Arena to play the Union College Dutchmen on Saturday night in Hamden. With 19:16 left in the first period, Sam Lipkin scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 3:26 left in the first period, Ethan de Jong scored his seventh goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-0 Bobcats. With 2:16 left in the first period, TJ Friedmann scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 3-0 Quinnipiac. Yaniv Perets and Connor Murphy matched zeros for the remainder remainder of the period so, 3-0 in favor of Coach Pecknold's Bobcats heading to the second period. With 18:35 left in the second period, TJ Friedmann scored his seventh goal of the season, on a penalty shot to make it 4-0 Quinnipiac. With 17:35 left in the second period, Skyler Brind'Amour scored his seventh goal of the season to make it 5-0 Bobcats. Union Coach Josh Hauge pulled Connor Murphy out of the net and so, Kyle Chauvette filled in for the rest of the game. With 10:58 left in the second period, Jacob Quillan scored his seventh goal of the season to make it 6-0 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. With 4:31 left in the second period, Collin Graf scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 7-0 Quinnipiac. Perets and Chauvette matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 7-0 Bobcats it remains heading to the third period. With 9:39 left in the third period, Mason Snell scored to make it 7-1 Quinnipiac. With 3:26 left in the third period, Jacob Quillan scored his eighth goal of the season to make it 8-1 Bobcats! Chase Clark finished off the Dutchmen and Quinnipiac wins emphatically again 8-1! Quinnipiac improved to 14-1-3 on the season and 10-0-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
