After a close call last night, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return home to play the Clarkson Golden Knights tonight at M&T Bank Arena. With 10:22 left in the first period, CJ McGee scored his second goal of the season to make it 1-0 Bobcats. With 6:05 left in the first period, Brady Egan scored to tie the game 1-1. With 3:19 left in the first period, Ryan Richardson scored to make it 2-1 Clarkson. Yaniv Perets and Ethan Haider matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Golden Knights it remains heading to the second period. With 14:32 left in the second period, Collin Graf scored his seventh goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 13:19 left in the second period, Jake Johnson scored his second goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-2 Quinnipiac. With 5:12 left in the second period, Joey Cipollone scored his third goal of the season to make it 4-2 Bobcats. Perets and Haider matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Quinnipiac leads 4-2 heading to the third period. With 15:13 left in the third period, Skyler Brind'Amour scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 5-2 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. With 13:52 left in the third period, Noah Beck scored to make it 5-3 Quinnipiac. With 25 seconds left in the third period, TJ Friedman scored his fifth goal of the season into an empty net to make it 6-3 Bobcats! Yaniv Perets finished off the Golden Knights and Quinnipiac wins 6-3! Quinnipiac improved to 12-1-3 on the season and 8-0-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
