After nearly blowing it last night, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return to Ralph Englestad Arena to finish the weekend series with North Dakota tonight in Grand Forks. With 18:11 left in the first period, Skyler Brind'Amour scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 15:43 left in the first period, Jackson Blake scored to tie the game 1-1. With 1:46 left in the first period, Riese Gaber scored to make it 2-1 North Dakota. Yaniv Perets and Jakob Hellsten matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Fighting Hawks it remains heading to the second period. With 9:52 left in the second period, TJ Friedman scored his second goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 8:33 left in the second period, Desi Burgart scored to make it 3-2 Bobcats. With 4:51 left in the second period, Ethan de Jong scored his second goal of the season, on the power play to make it 4-2 Quinnipiac. Perets and Hellsten matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-2 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats it remains heading to the third period. With 12:03 left in the third period, Ethan de Jong scored his third goal of the season to make it 5-2 Quinnipiac. With 3:33 left in the third period, Iivari Rasanen scored to make it 6-2 Bobcats! Yaniv Perets finished off the Fighting Hawks and Quinnipiac wins 6-2! Quinnipiac improved to 2-0-2 on the season!
