While running away with the ECAC Hockey regular season championship, the Quinnipiac Bobcats return to M&T Bank Arena to play the Yale University Bulldogs to begin senior weekend. With 12:52 left in the first period, David Chen scored to make it 1-0 Yale. Yaniv Perets and Luke Pearson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Yale leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 15:33 left in the second period, Sam Lipkin scored his fifteenth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 4:56 left in the second period, Sam Lipkin scored his sixteenth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Quinnipiac. With 1:37 left in the second period, CJ McGee scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 3-1 Bobcats. Perets and Pearson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, the Bobcats lead 3-1 heading to the third period. With 13:57 left in the third period, Collin Graf scored his twenty-second goal of the season to make it 4-1 Quinnipiac. With 11:19 left in the third period, Christophe Tellier scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 5-1 Bobcats! Chase Clark finished off the Bulldogs and Quinnipiac wins 5-1! Quinnipiac improved to 25-3-3 on the season and 17-2-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
