After another dominant showing by Yaniv Perets last night, the number five nationally ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats return to M&T Bank Arena for a Saturday evening game against Princeton with their perfect conference record on the line. With 12:45 left in the first period, Jayden Lee scored his second goal of the season, on the second power play to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. Yaniv Perets and Ethan Pearson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Quinnipiac leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 11:18 left in the second period, Jacob Quillan scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Bobcats. With 2:21 left in the second period, Jake Johnson scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-0 for Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. Perets and Pearson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-0 Quinnipiac we stand after two periods of play in Hamden. With 2:23 left in the third period, Nick Seitz scored to make it 3-1 Bobcats. With 1:41 left in the third period, Michael Lombardi scored his fourth goal of the season into an empty net to make it 4-1 Quinnipiac! Yaniv Perets finished off the Tigers and Quinnipiac wins 4-1! Quinnipiac improved to 9-1-2 on the season and 6-0-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
