****So I am gonna provide some context to this story. This was a dream I had and I remeber most of it very vividly. This dream didn't involve andbubderyake characters. In fact it was like a mixture of an anime and manhua. Anya and (I forgot his name) the father from "I became the dark heroes daughter". (If you know it your awesome).
Anyway Anya was his daughter in this dream (why? Idk). ......I'm not even sure why I had this dream I haven't even seen the recent episodes in over 2 months now. Anyways I was thinking about just making this as it's own original stand alone short story, but I'm too lazy to flesh out characters right now and I want to write this before I forget. So I'm just gonna tweak the characters here a little bit to fall in line with the actions and abilities that happened in my dream. For now all I can say is....well, once you read it you'll find out.******

"Ice Cream! Ice cream!" you sang as you swung your hand with your fathers.
Today you were going on a little outing with your day. Not too far away just a little ways from the city your father had a cabin set up, a place he said he'd often got to relax. After your arrival it soon became a place for both you and him to spend quality time together. After all, it was the best place to play your little adventure games and explore.
You'd always consider yourself lucky for being adopted by him. Despite how he looked. Others may find him scary. But to you he was the coolest.
"Alright calm down a little. You'll pull my arm off at the rate" he chuckled.
"But you're moving soo slow and the ice creams gonna run out " you whined.
Nightmare did not argue against your persistence but instead key himself be dragged by you willingly. It didn't take long befire you both arrived at the ice cream and got what you wanted. The two of you soon set off towards the cabin while you ate your sweet treat.
"Ugh. Brainfreeze" you flinched whilst rubbing your head.
"That's why I told you not to eat it so fast" nightmare admonished.
"But it's soo good, and you hardly ever get me any"
"Because you can't control yourself" he pointed out.
You muttered under your breath "I can too" and ran ahead if him as the cabin came into view.
"Last one there is a rotten egg!" You yelled.
You ran with glee laughing as you saw the doors but frowned as nightmare beat you to eat.
"You cheated!" You stomped your foot to the ground.
"Nah, your just a rotten egg" he gave his usual lopsided grin and you glared at him.
"Hmph, obviously I win by default since you cheated"
"How did I cheat?" Nightmare asked as he unlocked the door.
"Because you used your magic to do that thing you do"
