It didn't take long for me to become good friends with papyrus, he even introduced me to the rest and they welcomed me with open arms it's almost to bad that my reasons for being there was a lie otherwise I would of really loved to get to know them more.

I've tried getting closer with sans, he likes to be distant.

I was at home when I decided to call papyrus.

"Hello y/n!"

"Hi papyrus, I actually wanted to ask you some things about sans..."

"Sans?..." he seemed hesitant
"Okay what is it exactly?"

"I just wanted to know...why is he so distant from everyone?"

"....it's not my place to say, but just know sans doesn't really mean any harm, he's just angry, at himself because he lost someone very important in his life...we all did"

"I see...I'm sorry if I brought up something sensitive"

"No its alright, I feel like you did deserve to know on some level since we are friends"

"Thank you papyrus, I really appreciate it"

"But y/n"

"Yes?"

"I think with you around...sans just might open up a little more"

"You really think so? It doesn't seem like he likes being around me"

"You just haven't noticed it yet, but I can assure you I know my brother very well"

"Well bye papyrus"

I hung up the phone and let out a sigh. I would look into this more.

I dug up some information and what I found put a weight on my shoulders. We killed frisk, sans lover...his mate. My heart shifted and felt a bit heavy, I've never really felt this way before. Now they sent me on this assignment after him. Why? What are they really planning?

I didn't know what to think of this information right now.

I left the house, I needed to clear me head. I walked briskly down the side walk, thinking things over in my head. I was trying to figure out just what their goal was because at this point it's obvious they are using me, but the reason is why and fir what.

The easiest thing would be is to get me killed, but I know it's not so simple. I had been thinking so deeply on this I hadn't noticed how far I walked and the fact that I knocked into someone.

I stumbled mumbling an apology but I hit into them so hard I actually lost my balance and tripped. I sat up and looked back, just who did I knock into.

But to my surprise it was sans...most of our meetings these days are becoming unintentional, as if fate was guiding us to each other. Yeah right.

I put on my smile "we really should stop bumping into each other like this"

He didn't really seem amused, had his usual scowl but it relaxed.

"Had something on your mind..."he questioned, so now he was making conversation with me.

"Yeah, you could say that"

"Must of been important "

"...yeah" I hadn't noticed when my smile fell and when I began staring.

His original profile stated him to be a more cheerful guy, liked to tell jokes and always had a smile on his face but now all he does is frown, look lost and empty...we did this to him.
