////CHANCE////
At the time I thought I understood. I thought I could help, that they would help him, that they would help us. I was stupid and naive to the fact that they were using us, we were just an opportunity to them. Look at how that turned out. I wish I had listened to him more, tried to understand what he was truly feeling, what he was trying to tell me, but I ignored him thinking I knew what was best for him. I didn't know anything at all. Those bastards may have caused all of this, but I'm just as responsible for letting it get this far.

The bus came to a stop and the doors opened. I stepped out first and looked back holding out my hand. He took it firmly and stepped off the bus. The bus began to drive off as he looked around at the new area we were in. I could see the thoughts that were going through his head, mostly his nervousness. He looked at me with worry on his face but I gave him a gentle smile to try and calm his nerves.
"I'm not so sure about this, we should just go back" he looked me in the eyes hoping I would take him up on his request.
I sighed. I knew he was nervous, I completely understand why. I mean, when we first received the invitation stating they could help us with our case I was skeptical of it at first. But when I looked into it seeing how much professionals was going into this and Dr. Gaster, A world renowned scientist was apart of it we couldn't just let this opportunity slide. Dr. Gaster had been doing studies on sans specific case and his results so far had been positive. If it meant there was a chance to save Sans I was willing to take it. I looked sans in the eyes giving his hand a soft squeeze.
"Don't be so worried Sans, this is the only thing we've got left" I said
"....I know" he sighed. "Alright, lets go I guess" he seemed reluctant
I smiled at him and pulled him along as we walked along the brick roads towards the huge building the greeted us. As we arrived there was a crowd of people like us, both monsters and humans alike, all of us just waiting to head inside.
"With this much people are you still nervous?" I asked with a smile
Sans didn't say anything however. He just passed me an uneasy glance and kept looking around.
"I guess not" I muttered
Soon enough a representative dressed in a classy black business suit came out to welcome us. They stood in front of the crowd a business smile plastered on their face and began to speak.
"Welcome to, Hopes Foundation. We are glad that you all decided to accept our invitations and come here. We assure you, your stay here will be pleasant and your leave will be satisfactory and leave you with results you will be happy with" They finished
"Now if you all will follow me inside so you can sign in and get registered into the system, that would be wonderful" They began to lead the way into the doors and the crowd soon followed after them in an orderly manner. Sans and I merged in with the crowd and as soon as we entered inside the classy decor captivated us. Golden chandeliers and velvet carpets. Even pearls of the wall seemed to be ingrained with pearls.
