"Are you s-sure you know how to drive?" Tabitha asked as I helped her into the passenger seat of her car.
"No- not really" I shrugged, "but I know how to drive good enough to get us home".
"Home?" She repeated with a tilt of her head.
I smiled. Shit- stop being cute!
"My home" I corrected myself, "now can I get your keys?" I asked, placing my hand out.
She stared at it and then looked back up at me and smiled, "No".
"Why?"
"You could be drunk"
"Says the drink one".
"I'm sober!"
"Lies" I smirked.
Tabitha tilted her head and stared at me, causing everything in my stomach to twist and turn.
"Tabitha Camilla Thompson- why are you staring at me like that?" I asked with a small blush rushing across my cheeks.
"You're so pretty," she said in a whisper.
My heart began to pound, "and you're so drunk" I replied- because there was no way Tabitha would ever say that if she was sober, right?
"Drunks words are sober thoughts" she smirked.
"And drunk Tabitha needs to give me her keys so I can take her home with me".
"Aw" she smirked, "you wanna take me home with you?"
"Only because you don't want to go home".
"Maxine Parker likes having me around".
"Sure I do" I replied sarcastically- and I wasn't lying. I did like having her around, but I didn't want to admit that- because well-
I didn't exactly know what would come next.
"See" she tilted her head, "you love me".
"Can I have your keys now?" I asked.
"Maybe"
I gave her a look, "stop looking at me like that!" She demanded.
"Like what?" I asked innocently.
"Like my mom" she pouted.
I raised my brows, causing her to glare at me, "Stop looking like my mom!" She whined.
"I will when you give me your keys".
She smirked, "You have to find them".
I sighed. Fuck, I need to be home before twelve- and I only have thirty minutes.
"Tabitha" I breathed out and placed both my hands on her knees, leaning down so that I was face to face with her, "I really, really need to get home- so, please" I begged, "give me your keys".
She sucked in a breath of air and continued to stare into my eyes.
Why did she keep staring at me? I was seriously wondering if something was wrong with me, but before I could ask, my eyes took control of themselves and drifted down to her lips.
She had perfect lips...
They looked soft and pink and-
"You're no fun" she gave me a sad look before reaching into her purse and pulling out a set of keys.
"Thank you Mrs. Impossible" I smiled, taking the keys into my hand before hopping over to the driver's side of her car.
I can tell right away that explaining to my Mom and Steven why there's going to be a 5'5 mixed girl in my bed after a party is going to be an interesting morning conversation.
