After I raided Tabitha's closet in her very cool bedroom with a bunch of artwork in it, the three of us, hopped into Tabitha's SUV and went to get whoever Lizzy was.
"Is that all you could find?" Malaya laughed from the backseat of the car.
"It's comfortable, okay!" I huffed, slouching down in the seat as if I were made.
Tabitha laughed while Malaya asked, "So what will happen when we leave the theater and it's cold as hell outside?"
"It's only October, it's barely cold out here," I said pointedly.
"Just let her where the hoodie, May" Tabitha chuckled and started up the car.
"Of course, you'd say that," Malaya said teasingly- and half of me questioned why.
What I got from Tabitha's closet was a very oversized Harvard hoodie that she stole from Malaya's Dad, and then I found a pair of shorts because I wanted to be comfortable.
Being cold was never a problem for me- I liked it, so if we left the theatre and I was cold, it wouldn't affect me much.
And if it did, it was always a clever excuse to cuddle close to Tabitha- and that was basically what I was going for, claiming I was cold and then cuddling up in Tabitha's lap.
Wait- can you even do that at movie theaters?
"What movies are we going to see anyways?" I questioned, looking at Tabitha who was focused on driving- Tabitha's hair was up in a messy bun, and she was wearing the same light makeup she was at school today- she had one a black crop-top, and a really cool white jacket with little strawberries dotted around it, along with that, she had on a pair light brown pants and a black belt.
She looked so beautiful. Tabitha was always beautiful- and that was something nobody could deny.
Tabitha gave me a smile, "Horror movies obviously- it's between my little pony, and Scream".
Malaya and I laughed, "what?" Tabitha questioned innocently.
"My little pony isn't a horror movie," I said through giggles.
Tabitha raised her brows, "you sure?"
"Very" I answered, staring at her admiringly- even in the dark of the October night, Tabitha still looked stunning- and all I could really do was stare at her with my lips parted.
Sometimes, Tabitha was so quiet and deep in thought that it was hard to believe someone like her didn't have friends when we met.
I wondered how someone like Tyler got to have someone as amazing as Tabitha Camille Thompson- because he definitely didn't deserve her.
I didn't know who did but...
It wasn't him. Maybe it was me- maybe I deserves her- then again, she wasn't a "prize" or anything, she was an amazing human being with feelings.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Tabitha asked with a chuckle- snapping me out of my trans.
"L-like what?" I blushed, thank god it was night time or else I'd be even more embarrassed.
She shook her head, "Never mind".
When we got to Lizzy's house- which was was big and yellow, a girl- around Malaya's age, who was skinny with really long chestnut brown hair, walked out.
From the rear window, I saw a wide smile spread across Malaya's face, I mentally laughed at this, "Don't tell her"Tabitha leaned down and whispered in my ear, causing me to slightly shiver at the feel of her minty breath, "but we're only seeing a horror movie so Lizzy falls into her arms".
