Chapter nine

Y/n POV:

I quickly sat up sensing the guards coming towards us. I sniffled one last time before shrinking down and I got dizzy again but more severely as I decided to fly up and hid on katakuri’s shoulder, you noticed the calm aura around him and you just knew he was trustworthy.

Not a lot knew about that part of your past, well whoever knew about it is under the dirt. Well only shanks and him now knew.

You panted catching your breath as the sea stone took a toll on your body, I mean you could fight with it on very well but not use your devil fruit with it on. It was an ongoing process.

“Katakuri-sama! Have you seen the escapee?” asked one of the guards approaching him, he seemed to be contemplating his choices “no” was all he said getting up and walking away, you snickered at his short statement and the way he walked away made you crackle up more.

You would’ve been full on laughing if it wasn’t for the sharp pain of your head and the fact you were hiding from them.

You sighed holding your head and sat down on the mochi man’s shoulder “thanks for not snitching on me” you smiled as he nodded “I think you should go back to your fa-“ he was about to continue that sentence but you cut him off “don’t you dare finish that sentence and call him my father, if he was really my father then where was he my whole childhood” you grumbled looking at your hands, when you seemed in a safer place you jumped down and went back to your normal size.

You looked at the shackles around your hand and you were wondering how the hell would you get rid of it. But before you could do anything, huge hands broke it and you stared at the mochi man who adverted his gaze to the side.

You smiled finally regaining your power “THANKS!!” you shouted as you twirled around. He stared at your form and was only wondering one thing ‘How the hell could someone so cheerful be a cold blooded murderer?’  he thought, “maybe we should go back now, I’m sure they’ll kill anybody to find you by now” he sighed as he started walking toward the huge castle, now that you think about it you literally jumped from the 10th floor. “Ah shit, Katakuri-san wait!” you cursed as you ran to catch up with the large man, he didn’t seem to stop so you grew in size and finally was able to catch up with him.

He looked at you and you could see the shock in his face “how are you this tall?” He asked while you grinned ”It’s a secret” when you walked through the door you went back to your normal size and looked up at the giant “Katakuri! Listen act like you caught me” you said as he picked you up by your shit and stared at you “You’re quite interesting” he mumbled under his breath but you didn’t hear him, he walked back to the room you were previously in to find that they were all still there.

You were smiling still even at some point your head slipped inside your shirt, he finally put you on the ground and you stood still fixing it. “I found her sneaking outside” he said and went back to his place behind big mom. You sighed and sat down on the couch “I’ll agree to staying here with one condition, I don’t want to be tied by any cuffs at all” you stated as you rolled your eyes, the two yonko’s looked at each other seemingly having a silent conversation then kaido agreed to your condition. “alright, great. Yamato? Let’s go, I have some catching up to do with you” you smiled as you took his arm and left the room.

You arrived at his room and entered, locking the door behind you. “Listen, you know ace right?” you asked “yeah! I met him a while ago” he smiled “thank goodness, can I relay on you to give him a message, I need him to pass it to shanks. Please” you begged as you fell to your knees.

Yamato stared at you, you seemed so desperate “alright, I’ll do it” he answered and you perked up “REALLY?!” you smiled and he nodded. You got up and hugged him tightly “Thank you, thank you! You don’t know how much that means to me! You’re the best” you grinned kissing his cheek.

Somewhere a mother hen sat stressing out about his little sister when suddenly he felt his heartache “Why do I feel like I got betrayed yoi?” I muttered quietly

In another place with our protagonist’s lover, he sat down with the most depressing aura around him. Rocking himself back and forth whispering “they took her” over and over again when suddenly he felt betrayal as clear as day in his heart ‘why do I feel like y/n is hanging around another man, not only one but a lot’ he thought as his eyes darkened.

//A week had already passed//

You smiled handing the letter to Yamato. “Again, I really appreciate your help” you grinned hugging him “you’re welcome” he smiled patting your head. Then he left the room to deliver it, you smiled thoughtfully as now you noticed how you’ve had nobody to talk to.

So, you made up a plan. Totally not up to anything bad.

You smiled marching out of the room and then went to katakuri’s room and busted through the door “Kata-kun~” you singsong but your eyes widened as you saw said man staring at you shocked with his mouth now revealed to you.

More like his reason of insecurity.

You’ve heard about it before but now that you saw it, it was way terrible than what you’ve read.

Your eyes softened as you walked in and his eyes screamed distrust as he hastily covered his mouth, the way he covered it like it was a curse.

You smiled as you flew up to be at his height and then you put your hand out “You’re not scared by it?” He asked while you laughed “Why would I be? You’ve gone through a lot because of it, it’s time for you to realize people love you for who you are, not what you are” you grinned putting your hand out again “you up for some trouble today” you asked and he put his hand in yours.

You smiled “let’s go and paint kaido’s room in pink” he stared at you shocked then his shoulder shook slightly as you both walked out the room. You talking about everything and anything that comes up to mind while he made some remarks here and there but kept quiet nonetheless.

After your small prank, you found out that he was asleep. So, you being you, not doing anything at all. Totally didn’t just took a permanent marker and drew on his face.

An hour or two later, you and katakuri were sitting in the living room playing chess when suddenly loud yelling was heard all over the mansion “WHO THE FUCK DID THIS?!?!” Ringed throughout the whole place, you snickered quietly holding back from laughing out loud when Yamato came in and nodded your way as a silent message that meant ‘letter delivered’ you nodded back and then kaido busted through the door with some shapes and writing on his face like circles, squares and triangle. With writing like loser, worst emperor and other Like that.

Yamato started laughing out loud and kaido was fuming “YAMATOOO!!!!” he yelled and the latter finally realized how much trouble he was in as he ran away “UNCLE KING!” he shouted running to the lunarian’s room followed by the giant lizard. After he disappeared from your view, you started laughing banging your head on the table “Did you- did you see his face?! HAHAHAHA!! IT’S SO HILARIOUS” you laughed as the man beside you chuckled silently.

You knew shanks would save you soon so you’ll enjoy your time for now.
