"You know, if I can time travel. Does that mean I can make you as well time travel with me? I really wanna go see the pirate king and kick his ass for making ace suffer you know, because the past ace nearly died for a dumb reason like being Roger's son if I didn't intervene" you concluded as you and shanks were sitting in the room while Kai was sleeping in his cradle "Oh my god y/n!! You've been theorizing about your capability for the past 3 hours!" shanks sighed holding his head "Oh come on! I'm just thinking about a vacation in a nice island in the new world maybe? Maybe in east blue too?" you hummed "Alright, wait what?" questioned shanks looking at you puzzled "It's past stuff that you cannot understand until you go there" you chuckled "You're way confusing then before you know" shanks pouted making you laugh "Don't worry honey, you'll get used to it. Moreover, I'd say we should go and see the others soon. I bet they're dying to see me" you smiled "But, I must ask... did.. did Marco really try.." you mumbled trailing off and you sighed "Yeah, Marco has been trying to kill himself a lot. At least 3 times a week and you can start counting the past 10 Months" he answered making you look down 'you promised me...' you thought "The old man haven't been sober for the past 10 months as well, thatch messed up his recipes and you know how much he cares about perfecting the food he makes. The boys been stressed out a lot, and nothing without you was the same anymore" he added sighing 'oyaji... thatch... Luffy... Ace... sabo...' you thought "Are you crying?" shanks questioned as he got up from his seat and sat beside you then pulled you to his chest "I'm... I'm so sorry... I didn't mean... I never..." you cried as you clutched to his shirt tightly "Hushh~ it's gonna be alright... you didn't even do anything... why are you apologizing?" he said soothingly running his hand through your hair "If I returned sooner none of this would've happened! If I was more cautious I wouldn't of got shot! If I got back faster I could've helped!" You sobbed "I'm so tired shanks... I just want to live peacefully..." you whispered "Why can't I live in peace like everyone else! Why did I have to become a fucking dumb mafia leader? Why did I get born as kaido's daughter?! Why are both my parents so god damn dangerous?! I never wanted a life like this! I never wanted to be like this! I just.. wanted peace..." you sniffled as you poured your heart out "Better?" asked shanks "A little... yeah" you answered as you backed away from him slightly "Now darling, you're very stressed out so you should take a nap" shank grinned as he picked you up from the chair and then walked to the bed "Nu! I'm not tired!" you pouted as you buried your face in his chest "You don't want to sleep while I tell you a bedtime story?" he asked as he put you gently on the bed and then got in himself "I mean... I feel just a little bit tired" you mumbled as you curled up and hugged his side "Cuddles?" he smiled "yes please" you answered as he wrapped his arms around you "Now to the story.. well, once upon a time..." he chuckled once he saw that you were already sound asleep by his side "Don't worry... I'm going to keep you safe... From the world and even yourself.." shanks smiled moving some hair out of your face.

You stood silently on the cliff just waiting when shanks popped up finally "That's not y/n" you said once he was in your view "What do you mean?" he questioned as he walked towards you "When y/n stabbed me her eyes were red, meaning she's literally being controlled by 'Dominic' aka the devil fruit's spirit" you explained as you folded your arms "You have to help her, she's not even doing anything wrong. You have to find a way to make her snap out of it" you sighed as you looked at the past shanks "How can I do that?" He questioned "Don't know~ figure it out, I'm out" you grinned as you disappeared from his view.

You opened your eyes and saw the handsome devil you call a husband sleeping soundly "Ah, what a beautiful sight to wake up to" you smiled as you looked at him your eyes practically radiating all the love and admiration you have for him.

You were quite wondering, why the hell was Kai still sleeping until now and why the fuck didn't he cry at night.

So you got up from your bed and walked over to the cradle just to freeze once you stood beside it.

"K-Kai..?" you stuttered looking at the empty cradle with some blood spot in it "Sh-Shanks!!" you shouted as you were shaking "MY BABY!!!!" you cried as you fell down, the red-haired immediately woke up and ran to your side not even thinking twice about it. "What's going on?!" he asked urgently "Kai! Kai is gone! A-and there's blood!" you cried as you begun panicking a bit rocking yourself back and forth "No, no, I can't lose him like this... No fucking way! No! Bring back my child! I SWEAR IF I FIND WHOEVER DID THIS I'LL CHOP YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF!" you shouted as you gritted your teeth "How did anyone even come inside without us noticing neither Benn?" shanks questioned making you frown, you stood up shakily and walked out of the room just to see Benn standing in front of you all beaten up "Did he take Kai?!" he questioned "Who did that to you?" You asked smiling although your smile showed how pissed off you were "Teach" answered Benn shortly "Oh? Teach? Marchell D. Fucking teach?" you chuckled as you looked down "Don't worry y/n we'll get Kai back" smiled shanks nervously once he noticed how pissed off you were. "Let's go meet the others, I have some sense that I need to knock in their damned mind" you smiled and shanks could only nod and pray for the safety of everyone else, you put your hand on Benn's arm and his wounds lit up then begun closing up slowly "Don't worry, you're safe. I'm not mad at you" you laughed slightly as you noticed how tense both of them were.

When the wounds completely healed up you took your hand off and grinned "I'm driving" both of them paled and looked at you "Are you sure? I can dri-" Benn couldn't finish his sentence as you glared at him "I'm sorry what did you say?" you asked "Nothing" he said shortly "great, both of you in the backseat" you smiled as you picked the keys and went out the door "I pray to god, that we reach the others alive" muttered shanks "I swear if your wife kill us" grumbled Benn as he got in the car "Belt up guys" you grinned as you pulled out of the parking lot and changed gears then zoomed out on the streets "I swear if you got us killed y/n!!!" shouted Benn as he clutched to his seat "Y/n! Please calm down or we'll end up dead!!" yelled shanks as he hugged Benn in a death grip "Stop being wimps!" you laughed as you turned up the speed more.

That is until you were stopped by a police officer "Now you'll get a speeding ticket" sighed shanks "Don't worry, I got this" you grinned as you got pulled over "hello, ma'am. Would you mind giving me your license?" he questioned "I don't have a license" you replied "Uh, alright.. could you show me the car's papers?" he asked looking at his clipboard "This is a stolen car, I even have a dead body in the truck" you smiled "Alright, ma'am I need you to step out of the car. Guys, I need backup" he said as he pointed a gun at you talking through the walkie-talkie for a while.

You got out of the car and a pink haired one who you recognized as one of luffy's friends, Coby came. "Y/n?" he raised a brow once he looked at you and then looked back at the officer "What's going on here?" he asked "she doesn't have a license and stole the car and there's a dead body in the truck" the officer said pointing at you "Is that true?" questioned Coby "No officer, let me give you my license and the car's papers right now" you replied as you took said papers from the glovebox and handed them to him "And the body...?" he tilted his head "truck open, you can check it" you shrugged, he went over and found the truck empty "Bet he told you I was speeding too, what a liar" you scoffed "You can go on y/n, I'll deal with him" he smiled and you got in the car again "See, I got it" you grinned looking at the duo who were staring at you shocked "What the fuck?" asked shanks "What the fuck? That's all you have to say? Your wife is fucking crazy!!" Benn exclaimed as you begun driving normally "I'd much prefer creative" you grinned "ready for round two?" you added smirking "Please no" muttered Benn "Y/n darling, no. Just no" sighed shanks "I see... be prepared boys" you smiled as you drove fast down the rode "Mom I'm scared pick me up!" shouted shanks "I'm sorry god for whatever I've done in my life! Please spare me!!" shouted Benn while you laughed menacingly at their suffering.

Once you reached the house you saw an ambulance and a police car parked in front of the house "oh fuck, don't tell me that Marco did something dumb" you cursed as you parked the car and immediately jumped out and closed the door behind you.
