Shanks POV:

I layed on my bed looking at the ceiling blankly, I couldn’t help but keep taking glances at the picture on the side of my bed of me and y/n.

Us,

smiling joyfully, With no fucking care in the world.

Can I ever see her again?

Can I ever hold her again?

Can I ever hear her melodic voice again?

Can I ever hear her echoing laughter after she’s done a prank on someone?

Tears streamed down my face, no matter how furiously I rubbed my eyes I couldn’t stop them.

Loud sobs filled the once silent room, my shoulders shook as I covered my eyes.

A small click was heard indicating that the door was opened, Benn came in with a sigh and sat on the bed. He opened his arms and I immediately hugged him tightly loudly wailing into his arms “You’ve been at this state for a month now… when are you gonna move on?” he asked

“Y/n never wanted anything in this world! Y/n never wanted a crown! Y/n never wanted gold! Never wanted status! Never wanted war! Never wanted to be like that! All y/n ever wanted was to live in peace! Y/n just wanted a normal life!” I cried and he patted my back slowly “Don’t worry, everything would change soon…” he sighed

The h/c haired girl slowly opened her eyes and looked around confused slowly looking around “Where the fuck am I now?!” Shouted the girl in frustration, I chuckled lowly and she looked at me shocked “YOU!!” she shouted shock written all over her face “me?” I smiled looking at her “Why are you here? No- where the fuck am I?!” she asked “Quite literally you’re in my timeline aka in the past! You were lucky enough I could save you and your child” I smiled and she hugged her stomach “MY FUCKING KID WAS SHOT! WHO SHOT ME?!” she shouted “Akainu, he’s the only crazy bastard that would shoot an emperor’s wife” I sighed staring at her “Wait a damn minute, in… the past? In the pirate era?!” She questioned “finally you processed the whole things I’ve said” I smiled “how the fuck am I here?!” she shouted “Ah you have so many questions, and I thought that good for nothing bastard explained the story of the fruit to you” I sighed “I helped you time travel, I need you to save Ace” I added explaining

Y/n POV:

So to summarize what I know:

-I’m in the past

-my ‘ghost’ is in front of me

-I’m here to help Ace

-I’m in an island beside marineford

And I need to participate in a war undercover. And said war is in a week.

I sighed looking at the ghost “why can’t I just revive you and we’ll be done with it?” I asked “because that could be really dangerous for your child” she said pointing at my stomach, I subconsciously wrapped my hand around my stomach and groaned “I’m hungry! Can’t we get food or something?” you pouted “hunt for it, no luxurious way out” she sighed for the millionth time since I woke up “Wahhhh! Unfair! Really unfair! I’m a pregnant woman! You can’t treat me like that!” You cried causing the woman to sigh once again “I’ll get someone to take care of you, just wait!” she groaned and disappeared “Now I’m all alone stranded in the middle of a forest that’s on an island in the middle of the ocean! Joy!” you sarcastically said getting up and walking around finally reaching the docks you were met by a huge ship which made your jaw drop.
