Chapter fourteen

You smiled as both nami and robin dolled you up, the two grinned once they were done with you. “So? How do I look?” you asked “Stunning/gorgeous!” both girls replied beaming at you, you blushed embarrassed at that and then you looked to the side “Go girl and claim your man!” cheered the orange haired girl “Yeah, I wish you a happy marriage life” grinned robin “Thank you girls!” you laughed hugging them both then you ran out the hall where you saw marco.

You launched yourself at him and hugged him tightly “I can’t believe I’m getting married before you!” you laughed “I can’t believe that too yoi” he smiled lightly patting your head. He linked his hand with yours and looked at you “Are you ready? My amazingly beautiful sister” he chuckled “I’m nervous but… I’m ready” you grinned as you both walked out.

Shanks decided it’s a great idea to do our wedding at the beach, the smell is just so refreshing and the weather is nice. You looked around and when you saw your friends and family sitting there you were overjoyed at that which made you smile warmly “my family…” you whispered underneath your breath. Finally, your eyes landed on the love of your life ‘no matter where you are, I’ll always love you. It doesn’t matter if I’m dead or not my heart will be with you, through life and death. Through good and the bad. I’ll love you, I’ll adore you, I’ll protect you even if it coast me my life. You’re the light in my dark times, you’re the one who made me open my eyes to my reality’ you sighed contently remembering shanks’ confession last night, it made you a little bit better about yourself and also bad ‘better over the fact that he’s willing to protect me, bad over the fact that he will sacrifice his life for me…why do I feel like something bad is about to happen?’ you thought glancing around then you saw something and you frowned ‘a red…dot? No.. SNIPER!!’ You thought in complete alarm, it lowered and lowered then stood on its target. “SHANKS! LOOK OUT!!” You yelled running towards him but you were just an inch away, just a second but he got hit.

You caught him just before his body hit the ground and glared up seeing the sniper readying another shot this one for you. “GUARDS! GO AND CATCH THAT FUCKING TRAITOR!” you yelled as you finally realized who he was “JOHN!!!!!!” You shouted at the top of your lung glaring towards your once most trusted man now nothing but a traitor “Shanks… OH MY GOD SHANKS DON’T WORRY YOU’RE GONNA BE ALRIGHT OKAY” You shouted once you realized where the heck the bullet was ‘A bullet near the heart is fatal if not treated carefully’ you remembered law’s words as you bit the inside of your cheek “heal” you mumbled under your breath lowly as an orb came out of your hand and entered his body. You gritted your teeth at how you weren’t able to get it out of his body ‘sea stone bullets and it’s mixes with a sedative'  you thought as you looked around “CALL A FUCKING AMBULANCE!” you shouted ‘okay I might’ve started panicking a little bit… OKAY NOT A LITTLE SHANKS IS DYING IN MY FUCKING ARMS ON OUR WEDDING!!’ you thought yelling at yourself internally.

The voices of the others were muffled in your ears, your tears falling down your face and blood staining your once white dress, you were crying because you were helpless in this situation.

Sea stone was your mortal fucking enemy, you dread every second passing and it felt like everything was going in slow motion.

You hated it, you hated being useless. You’re supposed to be useful. ‘Use me!’ a voice yelled ‘use who?’ you replied your conscience fading away slowly ‘I’m your-‘ you blacked out before hearing the response to your question hearing the terrified yells of other ‘This was supposed to be my happy day… why did everything go wrong?!’ you thought.

John POV:

After shooting shanks down I grinned looking at him falling that was when my ex-boss held him in her arms, that made me chuckle ‘how cute indeed…bet you would’ve loved to see your Creation crumble and become such a fragile being’ I thought looking up at the sky “JOHN!!!!!!” Yelled y/n making me chuckle ‘see ya on the other side, enemy’ I thought as I jumped off the roof and disappeared into a black mist where I was teleported to my current boss “Did you finish the mission?” he asked “Of course! You should’ve seen her pained face when she realized I was the sniper and more when I shot her husband!” I laughed making the man chuckle ‘what a fool’ thought the other man “so what are your motives now? Big W?” I added as the black haired male smiled “kidnapping the so called Y/n, the fallen angel” he replied with a hint of amusement ‘And you are the bait that’ll bring the fish out of it’s hiding place’ he thought looking aside “good job anyway you’re dismissed” he smiled at me and I left.
