Y/n pov:

I felt myself sink into the chair I was sitting on. The envelope in my hands had been ripped open and the letter sat between my fingers.

Ownership transfer of the Sumeru Pharmacy.

The old man knew he would die. He had known he would pass away the following week.
I wish I had known earlier, I would've made a greater goodbye.

He'd transferred me everything. The Pharmacy, the money. It hurt knowing the old guy was so lonely, I was the one who inherited everything. We weren't even related.

I sighed, leaning back in the chair.

After a long walk to the city, i stood in front of the green glass building. On the steps, a small memorial was held for the man. I put down a Sumeru rose before walking to the door.

I pushed the key into the keyhole and let the door slide open, then walked into the back room.

I made sure to read through the documents he had stashed in the back so I could get a clear view of what to do.

The documents contents were sealed into my memory as I hurriedly read through them.

My eyes averted from the papers when I heard footsteps in the main room, approaching. I turned and looked over my shoulder with a smile.

"Hey Y/n!" Paimon greeted, Aether approaching next to her.

I turned around to face them before speaking, "Hello you two, sorry but the pharmacy isn't opened yet." I informed the two.

"Oh we know, we were just wondering if you needed any help around here, there's a lot of work to do now." Paimon said, Aether nodding at her words.

I thought about it, all the supplies had been removed from the building to be stored somewhere they could be kept fresh. After all, the pharmacy was open almost twenty four seven, but after the man passed away, I decided to keep it closed for a week in respect, and to prepare.

"Hmm, by help, what are you implying?" I asked.

Aether spoke before Paimon could. "Anything you need." He answered.

As I was about to answer, Paimon changed the topic rather quickly. "Oh and by the way, how is it going with you and The Wanderer?" She asked.

I gave her a strange look, the wanderer? Seriously?

I smiled at her. "Very well, thank you for asking." I replied. Aether then sighed and scratched the back of his neck with a guilty look.

"I'm sorry Y/n, I know I promised to keep everything a secret from his new reincarnation... ,but he approached us and wouldn't let it go." Aether started.

"Then, everytime I saw you, you always disappeared before I got to say anything." He said.

I chuckled, remembering how Kunikuzushi had purposefully isolated me from Aether to keep the secret hidden.

"No worries. It's a problem we have decided to put behind us. We've moved on." I told them with a smile.

Aether nodded. "That's good, though me and Paimon found these flowers and decided to give them to you." He said and Paimon held out a small bouquet of Padisarah.
