He turns around and you won't believe who it is......
Its my father!!!
Ok! Ok Alyssa play to cool! Act like you don't know him, act like he just a new person your meeting for the first time
"Hen I believe is upstairs, hi Danny" Bobby says
"Hi uncle Bobby" Danny says and hugs Bobby.
"Danny" I hear Hen says as she walking up to us with 3 other boys falling her
"Hey mom" Danny says and hugs her
"Hey Alyssa, how did it go today" she asks me
"Hard, tired and drained. They really work us today" I say and she nods agreeing with what I'm saying
"Oh guys this is the amazing Alyssa Green who is training to be one of us and is an amazing cook" Hen says showing me off to her coworkers
"I'm not amazing" I say
"Nope you are! She also really good with Kids. So if any of you have kids and need a babysitter, she perfect for to watch your kids" Hen says
"Well if I pass my tests this week, babysitting will be rare for me" I say
"You will pass and maybe cap will let her join 118" Hen says looking at Bobby
"Will see" he says
"Oh Alyssa, this is Bobby Nash the 118 captain! That's Buck, that's Howie but we call him Chimney and this Eddie" she says introducing me to everyone.
"Nice to meet you guys" I say nicely. I see Danny whisper something to Bobby and I see Bobby nod
"Alyssa, cookie time" Danny says grabbing my hand and running to the second floor stairs
"Ahh, ok, ok" I say letting him drag me, I hear them laugh behind me. We head upstairs to the kitchen and start baking cookies
Hen Pov
"So cap if she passes can she join" I ask Bobby our captain
"Will see" he says and I nod
"She seems nice" bucks says and I look at him
"Don't even think about it, she has big trust issues" I say
"Oh no, I'm not" Buck says
"Hey cap, do you know her" Chimney asks
"No why, I just met her" Bobby says
"She look like you a little" Chimney says
"Now that I think about it she kinda does" Bobby says
"You ok cap" I says and look at him. He thinking about something
"It's can't be" Bobby says softly, almost like a whisper
"Can't be what" Buck asks
"I have another daughter who I never talk about. Her name was Alyssa Marie Nash. She would have been 25 if she was here today. She was kidnapped when she was young. I think about her everyday" he says and we look at him shocked
"What if that's her" Eddie asks
"It could be, we never found her. We don't know if she dead or alive" Bobby says
"So you saying the Alyssa Green who with my son right now could be Alyssa Marie Nash your daughter" I asks and he nods
"Tell me about Alyssa Green" Bobby asks me
"Alyssa is a very quiet person. She never talks about her past. Only from 19 and till now. She says she didn't have a good childhood. All I know is that she really good with kids and an amazing baker and cook. She never asks for extra pay, she grateful for everything we give her. She struggles to get jobs, she says people don't think she'll be prefect for the job so she turned to babysitting" I say
"Do you think maybe there a reason she doesn't get a job" Buck asks
"Maybe but I never asks more, I don't want to push her or hate me! She an amazing friend" I say and they except that
"It could be, I don't know" Bobby says
"Hey maybe if it is her maybe she'll tell us in time. She saw you, maybe she needs to time to process" Chimney says
"That is true" Bobby says
"Maybe you can have Athena look into this" Buck says
"We could but we don't want Alyssa to know" I say
"Ok so will let time pass and if she show sign of my daughter then will get Athena involved. But not a word to Alyssa" Bobby says and we all nod
"Mommy cookies are ready" Danny yells from the second floor
"We're coming" I say and we start heading upstairs
We walk up stairs to find the kitchen and small mess but Alyssa cleaning it up and cookies on a plate
"Enjoy" she says cleaning up
Buck tries a cook and his eyes light up! I never told them she the one who makes the cookies. I always says a know a person who makes the really good
"Wait she the one who makes the cookies" Buck says and I nod
"Wait the ones Hen brings in every week" Chimney says and I nod
"Wait what going on" Eddie asks since it's his first day
"I bring in a plate a cookies that are really good usually once a week. Try one" I say and Eddie tries one
"Omg this are really good" he says and his face changes to like he tried something that tasted so good
"What's your secret with the cookies? How did you get so good making them" Buck asks Alyssa
"I don't know, I guess practice" she says
"Well I have to sadly have to go" Alyssa says
"What why" Danny says
"I have to go study, final test is the end of this week. I hope I pass" Alyssa say
"Hey you will and then maybe you'll be part of 118" I says
"Yeah, you got this" Eddie says and we all agree
"Thank you but that will only happen if I study and practice" Alyssa say and they nod
"Hey Alyssa, why do you want to be a firefighter paramedic" Buck asks Alyssa and she nods
"Well I always wanted to help people! But I also I want to make my father and grandfather proud. Growing up my father would come home and tell me stories about his day. It was just something I always wanted to do" Alyssa says smiling
"Aww, you will definitely make them proud" i say and she smiles
"Well I got to go, Bye guys" she says and leaves
"I'll see what I can do about her joining 118 if she passes" Bobby says and we nod
"She seems nice but shy" Chimney says
"She is a first but once she warms up to you, she really nice" I say and the nod
"Ok Danny time to go" I say and notice my shift is over
"Oh cap, you and Athena are prefect for each other" I says and he smiles. Athena came today to fix things between them. There perfect for each other
"Bye guys" I say
"Bye Hen, bye Danny" they all say and we head to my car
